We didnt get to stay there as the reservation was bogus. Will never use hotel.com again.

This is a great property in Pella. It’s close to everything. The staff and hotel were great. Rooms were large and spacious.

I love this hotel. It has wonderful rooms with thick soft terry towels; and it is within the city center. Many dining options, along with unique shops, makes this hotel within its beautiful environment perfect for families and friends to gather together.

It was a nice stay. Breakfast was not very good, real oatmeal would have been better than the vat of gravy and dried out biscuits.

Room was ready when we arrived. Nice and clean. Breakfast was continental style and included Dutch pastries which were excellent!

It was centrally located amongst many stores. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It wasn't noisy and there was a great view!

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Pella. We stayed there for the Christmas Festival. Everything we did we walked to accept one house on the home tour. Downtown has limited dining options. We did have to drive away to eat at a place where we could sit down, relax, and eat. The Peanut Pub in town serves only alcohol. We did see people order pizza from across the street and bring it in to eat while drinking. The hotel has a restaurant but it is a little pricey when you are looking for something like a Cesar salad and a burger. The hotel is clean and quiet. Rooms had plenty of space. They include a fridge, microwave, and a small coffee maker. Pro-tip, I saw someone take down the pot from their coffee maker, fill it with coffee, then return to his room where he kept it warm as he drank a few cups. Clever! Free breakfast included 2 different pastries, 2 cereals, some frozen yogurt. There were also bags of instant oatmeal and hot water. Limited but free. Overall, lovely stay.

Unfortunately it is one of our non negotiables when having to pay 220 for a room. We also heard others complaining about this as well. We booked somewhere else for next year but if the breakfast options changed in the future we would consider coming back.

Clean, friendly welcoming staff

Location to downtown is awesome, room was very nice. Parking is interesting, no real directions or signs on where to park and where to enter hotel as you are circling the block the building is on.

We spent two nights at the Royal Amsterdam Hotel, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast had some great pastries from there local bakery.

Did an early season visit to Pella. Because of the temps the moat didn’t have water. The hotel was nice. Comfortable bed, good pillows. The on-site restaurant had great food however make reservations as it fills up fast on the weekends. Prime location to stay for the tulip festival. Is it worth the price? Yes if you want to be within walking distance of all the downtown amenities otherwise it is a very overpriced hotel.

Lovely. Super-clean and attractive, very comfortable beds, staff very friendly and helpful. Eat at the restaurant - food is delicious.
