Genial

This place is a gem. The front row view to La Quebrada, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, and the location close to el zocalo made up for the devastation that hurricane Otis left in this once popular city. Accommodations are basic but you pay accordingly. I would definitely come back!

Great area near the cliffs. Just a bit rowdy at night and the drinking close by.

This place was such an awful experience. First they were trying to overcharge us by saying we booked for ten people when they could see we were only 8 people and saying that they couldnt change the reservation and that we had to contact expedia to change it and take the extra charges off and we did but expedia said they could not change it and was trying to contact the hotel to figure out what was happening but they wouldnt answer them. At this point we were tired and just said whatever so we go to our rooms and they were SUPER dirty and old! Not only that but one of the rooms had COCKROACHES! please do not book here we only booked here because of how many people there was and their was a moterfest happening and we couldnt find another hotel but it was so bad we Canceled this reservation and risked not finding another hotel thankfully we did find another one much better but if you are on the fence about this hotel please take this review as a sign and do not book here.

If you like to remember the golden era from Acapulco this is the place to stay. It’s great, also La Quebrada it’s right there for you to enjoy.

The room and bathroom were very dirty when we arrived, they should pay more attention to cleaning well.

Get ready for a workout. There’s an endless amount of stairs for you to go up and down. I checked in early (no extra charge) and was given the keys to 1 of 2 rooms I had reserved. The 2nd room wasn’t available until after the regular check in time. The 1st room had a vaulted ceiling and was spacious. The 2nd room was on the smaller side. Both rooms had 2 full size beds, TVs, working ACs, and hot water. There is no wifi in the rooms yet, only in the lobby and restaurant. 3 pools: the ocean/salt water, kid friendly, and a deep one at the very top of the hill. Get towel passes from reception. Parking in the front of the hotel is limited because the restaurant is a popular tourist attraction for the clavado shows and paying patrons are allowed to park in the hotel lot. In case the lot is full, they send you to the lot down the street, which is manned by security. The hotel has security throughout the property. The tub was clogged and not draining, notified reception and they sent a tech to fix the issue. I got locked in the bathroom and reception sent a tech to get me out. Response times were super fast. Check out was simple.

The swimming pools were great. The rooms were with enough room. The air and fridge were great. I didn't like that the rooms didn't have wifi, you had to go to the lobby.

The property is nice but is in need of structural repairs. The tub was chipped and the handle on the shower came off. Towels were old but clean . The door knob was old and needed an actual key to open the door. The view was amazing. No elevator and had a lot of stairs. Not wheelchair accessible hotel at all. If you can’t climb 5 floors of stairs you’re in trouble. Staff was very pleasant.

Amazing views at this hotel. It's dated and struggling, however, having passed it's hay day. That said, it's a real gem and worth every penny. WiFi only in the lobby, and hot water is hit and miss. The wristband was a bit much considering the few guests when we were there, but I suppose the rules are the rules. The upper pool is the nicest place in town, for sure.

The hotel is old and needs a major upgrades, the location of the hotel is amazing, I lived in Acapulco back in the 80’s and was one of the best hotels in town with 5 stars, now is one of the low rating hotels, sad to say that, but honestly the whole city is fallen apart. Acapulco once upon a time was one of the best places in Mexico to visit, now is not even worth it go there. When the famous movie Rambo II with Sylvester Stallone was filmed in the early 80’s in Acapulco was the best Acapulco ever, today is not even half of what it used to be. Sad sad sad.

The view was so worthy. It was really peaceful, the vibe was great. The room was outdated, no hairdryer, and the shower was over flooding. Other than that everything was good. It’s not expensive so what else can you ask for? I would visit again

The hotel is very deteriorated, needs lots of maintenance. The views are great. They have a porch that has an ok view for the cliff divers. The staff is very "blah" not rude but also not friendly or welcoming. There is no wifi in the rooms only in the lobby. There is alot of stair climbing and no elevators. We had an ocean view room so it was high up and took about 15min of stair climbing to get to our room from the lobby. 27 flights of Stairs to get from the lowest pool to our room. That pool is ocean water and a must see! They never had pool towels which was inconvenient. Our room needed upkeep and deep cleaning, the tub and toilet had serious grime build up and stains. The check out process was tedious and time consuming. They require a "walk thru" where they check the room for damages. It took about 30mins for them to do

The views are amazing, the buildings are charming. The furniture is old and outdated. Please don't use the safe boxes we almost lost our flight because it took the front desk 30 min to open the box, maintenance was called and they almost had to use the grinder to open the box. We reserved the all-inclusive but when I checked in I was told it was semi-inclusive. I have never heard about it. The AC in our room kept liking, the hot water is only turn on after 7 pm. We had to shower with cold water one time. The food I have to say was really good, and the server Margarito was amazing. To management, Margarito is a great addition to your hotel he made our stay pleasant.

Property needs lots of maintenance and to be cleaned. Towels are old and stained and rooms are smelly. There is no way to call from your room if you need anything. I was super disappointed

It was the worst experience I ever had on a hotel. Customer services was horrible, it was raining during our stay and the floor was very slippery my kids felt a few times. I ask the front desk to wipe the water and they said that there was no point because it will rain again. Horrible simply horrible
