Hotel was wonderful! Location was great- everything was within walking distance including the Christmas Markets. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and modern. We like our room to be very cold when sleeping so opened the window at night. Only downfall with that was all the noise. (we were there over the weekend so it was busy) Overall- would stay here again.

Hotel Josef was a great stay. Very conveniently located, well maintained, great breakfast offered and a wonderful staff. Mohamed and Martin were so helpful in their knowledge of the city and offered great suggestions of where to go to eat. Everyone there were warm and friendly.

It’s a great hotel and at a good price in a central location in Prague. This was my third time staying there and would definitely stay there again. I would single out the front desk as being particularly nice and helpful.

Very nice hotel, close to old town square and all of the sightseeings. The hotel itself is modern, art-deco styled. Very clean. Breakfast is a bit pricy, but good. We only ate breakfast one morning at the hotel. There are many good breakfast/brunch options nearby that are cheaper. Good gym, and mini bar was included.

Fantastic hotel in the smack centre of Prague, but at the same time in a rather quiet area. Great breakfast priced at around twenty euros and so worth it. Rooms clean and comfy and the minibar with juices and water included in the price.

It's my second time stay in this hotel. All staff are very good manner and helpful as before. Breakfast is also very nice too. Room is very clean and good size. Location is very near to all attractions within walking distane. Highly recommended! I definitely will come back again.

Absolutely wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Sometimes in Prague service can be quite lacking but not at Hotel Josef where service is truly five star. Highly recommend for Prague stays.

Clean modern hotel in a relatively quiet area, easy walking distance to sites. There’s a small grocery store and coffee shop a minute away. The rain SHOWER is incredible!

Hotel Josef was centrally located in the Old Town area. Such a wonderful place to stay if you want to be in the center. Walking distance to everything.

We loved that we could walk to restaurants and different places from the hotel. The receptionist was not welcoming at all, and he had a horrible attitude instead of trying to help solving problems.

Hotel Josef was very hospitable. Our A/C in the room stopped working and they made new accommodations for us with a complimentary bottle of wine. Max the bartender had some great jokes! The breakfast had many choices and we looked forward to a cappuccino each and every morning. The mini-bar in the room needs a little help though. It's only a 15 min walk to the Charles Bridge and all the shops. Great hotel.

Hotel Josef is amazing! Friendly and nice staff, variety of breakfast buffet options, walkable to old town sightseeing neighborhoods and interiors of the rooms are upscale and chic. Would definitely stay here for my next visit to Prague!

Impossible to open to bedroom door. Even the staff had lots of difficulties to let us access our bedroom. Every evening we were locked outside our bedroom.
In the bedroom light switches and
USB ports didn't work.
There was a hole in the bedroom wall, with electrical wires coming out of it. They had hidden this behind the curtains.
Dirty towels on the 2nd day.
Even if they apologised all these issues and a noisy bedroom under their gym made the stay really unpleasant.

Everything looks brand new. Particularly attentive, gracious and helpful staff at reception. 8 min walk to astronomical clock and very walkable to most sights. Rooms are very modern, spacious annd comfortable. Overall a very modern look.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Josef and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel was impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions, all within walking distance but away from the busy main square. The hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

I loved that we could borrow a classic Czech scooter that had been upgraded to an all electric configuration. Took my wife and I back to our younger days! The hotel staff was simply amazing. First class service. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and in a great location for visiting old town and great local eateries.
