We arranged for transportation from train station Poggibonsi which serves San Gimignano to hotel with return after our stay. Excellent service. Hotel staff always helpful. Located inside gates of old city with wonderful local restaurants and coffee shops. Good breakfast buffet option. We stayed in lots of hotels on our trip to Italy and this one is favorably memorable.

Gorgeous property, family run. Perfect location. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Great recommendations. Parking is about 300-400 meters, easy access. Tasty breakfast. The have an ancient cellar that you can tour.

We have to say that it was probably one of the nicest places we stayed in a long time the family that runs it I think it’s two sisters and a brother we’re just unbelievable as the old fashion really successful Italian way of running a hotel that’s all I can say the food was great for breakfast their services impeccable they have a passion and love for their business and it shows

One of our rooms was very pretty with Frescos. Beat cellar with old well. AC was very poor and rooms were uncomfortably warm (July trip) at night. Also, no clear instructions about arrival and we carried our luggage all the way up hill. It turns out, one can drive!

The room was old styled but very clean, the hotel is in an old fort style building with probably countless memories and history. The terrace is perfect for a quiet moment and for breakfast. Friendly staff and unique type of hotel, highly recommended

This was grand for one night. Small double bed, poor air conditioning. If anyone was moving around the hotel (returning, early risers, kids etc it was audible. Good location in the town. Clean, nice front desk.

Charming boutique hotel right in the center of town. The woman that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom could use an update. There was a glass door separating the hall to our room with the breakfast area, which made the room quiet.

So much to like about this hotel. The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel is perfect located in the old part of Monterossi and it has a terrace with a wonderful view. Breakfast was great but the best part of the hotel was Gabrielle himself. Whatever we needed and whenever we needed it, he was there to help us. Just a wonderful host

The property is quaint and quite lovely and the staff very polite. My main complaint was with the poor air conditioning during the heat wave in June. The room never really cooled off and needed to request 2 fans to sleep somewhat uncomfortably.

We paid for a king and 2 twin beds and got a queen and 1 twin right on the Main Street and the breakfast room. When I dared to ask the owner she was very nasty.

The hotel is beautiful and the family who runs the hotel are very nice people. It's quiet and comfortable the employees are very helpful. I enjoyed my stay.
