It was good overall. We didn’t like having breakfast delivered at 7am to our room. We thought it would be a sit down breakfast. The advertisement and photos say it has a bar and restaurant…not true they are next door at a completely different name and facility!

Room was comfy, bed a bit soft. Sitting chairs were rockers and too soft. Breakfast was sent to room and included croissants,juice and coffee. No choices were given. A bit pricey for what you got.

Hotel was in a great location. Very clean. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Staff all very helpful and personable.

The hotel was situated a bit further from the city center than I expected, but it was easy to get to. Lots of construction sometimes created challenges walking around until we learned the area. I would stay there again, absolutely, the staff was amazing and the hotel had the boutique vibe i love!

We had the most amazing stay! The staff is extremely helpful! The beds are comfy and the rooms are big enough for two! Plus there’s am amazing restaurant attached! The gym is small but suitable and the location is pretty darn good too! All walkable!!

this hotel has an excellent and helpful staff. the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was a nice bonus. location was great and walkable to all of old Quebec. i like this stay quite a lot 10/10.

Wonderful stay! The staff were terrific! Absolutely, this will be our Quebec City hotel from now on. Super quiet, minutes from middle of the walled city and that is WALKING. Too many upscale amenities to mention them all, but I will say our family of three loved the breakfast brought to the door. Parking super easy across the street arranged by the hotel was very welcome. The only thing is be sure not to drive by too far are you are going to have an "interesting" time trying to find your way to turn around and go back to this lovely hotel.

It is a lovely hotel, but it isn’t in Old Quebec so there is a lot of walking up and downhills to get from this hotel to Old Quebec.

The front desk people are so kind and helpful. The airline broke my luggage. They did everything they could to help me. The breakfast delivered to your door is quite a nice touch! The rooms are clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. This hotel is very close to the port if going on a cruise.

Very nice location and accomodatoons

My wife and I stayed at Hôtel des Coutellier for three nights in mid August. We found the hotel to be very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room (queen bed) to be comfortable. The location is great as it offers easy walking access to the old town shops, restaurants and museums. We paid for parking across the street through the hotel which was quite convenient, although we didn't use the car the whole time we were there! The breakfast was a nice touch, with a special bag hung by the door that contained croissants and orange juice paired with different items daily - we loved it! The only negative, which was minor, was that you really can't adjust the room's temperature - it has a thermostat, but when i turned it down from 22C (to 19C, we like it cool at night), it had no effect; I called the desk and he said that it was a "central" system impacted by other hotel guest and it wouldn't really get below 22C in the room, and suggested we open a window. We did open the window, which helped as the night air was fairly chilly, but there is a lot of noise outside the hotel (we were in the front) until about 4am. I realize I ranted about the a/c, but if you do like it cold keep that in mind. Otherwise the hotel was great and I can definitely see us staying there again!

Newly renovated room (unbelievable shower). Very spacious with extremely comfortable bed. However, noise was a slight issue. Some from street and some from building air conditioning that blows continually. Since we were traveling by train, it was ideal. 5 minutes walk.

We just had a great 2 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It’s in easy walking distance of old Quebec, and the property/rooms were so quiet!

Good location about a 5-minute walk (climb actually) up to Dufferin Terrace and Chateau Frontenac. Nice hotel.
