Clean, comfortable room with great view of bay. Paddle boards and kayaks available for play on the water. Office staff is so helpful and keeps coffee, tea, and cocoa ready at all times. Easy location to find and a great place to relax and play.

Charged premium price for cheap motel room. King mattress on Queen frame and headboard that was nailed to the wall. No carpenter skills what so ever.. Dresser drawer repeatedly opened without assistance (not leveled furniture). Hot water did not work and when it finally did heat (after 10+ mins) it was scolding no way to control temperature. Called the front desk BEFORE closing and no one answered - had to leave a message and NEVER received a call back. Next day another clerk told me, “oh you should’ve come to the office” like really?? I just stood freezing my a$& off waiting for hot water and you want me to walk to the front desk when no one answered??! We were so tired after our 5 hour drive, we just wanted to sleep as best we could and checked out first thing (6am) the very next morning. Not a good place to stay. Not represented correctly!!

I have been coming to this hotel yearly for over 4 years for business and personal purposes. The staff very well organized and very friendly. Great and clean area to walk my dog and the sleeping beds are very comfortable

The check in lady was not nice- the pool is ok but lots of people there in a group taking over playing loud music. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Used the bikes- they work but are run down. Lady at the desk when we checked out was very helpful and friendly. Ok place at reasonable price for 1 night. Wouldn’t stay longer,

I was pleasantly surprised on how updated it was. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly. I did not like that there were steps up into the room. I kept thinking I would fall, particularly with a heavy bag. You had to get pool towels from the front desk. I did not try the pool. They offered kayak's to use on the canal side, but I did not try that either. The pictures on the website show a beach. There is no beach on property; you have to drive to the beach, which you have to pay for parking. I recommend this property and I would stay again if in the area.

Mold in bathroom. Shower drained clogged/too slow. Room did not compare at all to the posted pictures.

This is a great older property. The room's are clean and spacious. The shower water pressure is 5 stars!!! Beds and pillows excellent.

We were told we would have a room that was right on the beach that wasnt true

Pros: location, clean, nice pool, free kayaks and easy access to water (we even saw a manatee from the dock), free coffee and lemonade.
Cons: very noisy because the hotel is on the side of the highway, we could also hear a dog barking in the next room, tons of tiny ants everywhere in the room, not the most comfortable bed. We were there 2 nights and the maid did not come to clean the room.

Staff left a lot to be desired. Arrived a little early and informed them we were there if the room was ready early. They did not care and it ended up our room was available later then the 4pm check in time.

Quick keys trip with our boat. We had a larger room with kitchen which was wonderful especially for saving money. Easy to go down canal by boat to get out on the water. Had a lot of fun.

Clean and relatively inexpensive hotel room. Stayed in room 101 and 112, both had comfortable beds and were clean. The staff was friendly. Free kayaks and bikes. was nice

It was a nice place to come to after a really long drive. You can tell from the outside that it has been there a while but the room was clean and the staff was really nice.

I accidentally booked this place while we were staying in islamorada. I called them and stated it was an accident and we were actually coming the next day the refused to refund or move our date. Just for that I’ll never book there ever. And hopefully everyone takes heed how horrible they treat people who make a honest mistake.

Everything was great. The only problem & it wasn't really a problem for me but maybe for other people is the volume of music that people would play by the pool. I don't mind the music but it might be suggested that the music be played at a lower volume. Also people had dogs at the pool, not that I'm against dogs but some people do, especially if they come up to you & keep and bark.

Ideally situated close to shopping areas.
Free use of canoes and bikes was good.
We did have an initial problem due to the location of our room the first night however this was promptly dealt with to our great satisfaction.
We consequently thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I guess you get what you pay for. We got a room right next to office. No view. A window of parking lot. I feel they gave us an “Expedia Room.” Property pictures were totally deceiving. A rat trap was literary outside our room. If I was staying for more than 1 night, I would’ve left. Never had a worse room and have been an Expedia preferred booking customer on many cities.
