It was a long awaited trip and considering the proximity to the shopping centre and my past experience ( 18 years back) chosen this property to surprise my family. Paid a premium for a three night stay wherein I had the opportunity to have stayed at Armani hotel for the price. The shuttle service driver at airport was very professional , pleasing and prompt. Despite giving all details and opted for upgrade , was asked to pay about 2000 dollars per night for a chalet upgrade (per night) and have made all the payments upfront and it took almost 30 minutes for a checkin after a 22 hr long flight. Could have been better if opted some water or some refreshments. Had given requests and opted to pay for to keep some local dates, chocolates, for my wife and son as a surprise and found none of them being there. Called the coincerige almost 3 times to remind them and waited till 11pm . The corner suite lot of space was wasted , could have used it better. No cutleries in the room, there was a drip leakage in the toilet from the bulb on top. couple of time the room was not even cleaned and bed not folded. the perfume in the entire floor was so so overpowering that we had to close the nostrils to avoid getting a head ache. Raised the issue the day before departure, and the service was much better after that and they tried to offer a complimentary ride to airport. I am from the service industry too, there was hardly any who was smiling and greeting u throughout.. Little disappointed

Room is amazing as always but service not as great as previous trips. Room was missing kettle and wine opener and just wasn’t as attentive in butler service as previous trips.

The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative would be that the technology in the room is old and you need to go switch off each light individually.

The hotel was only good to come back and sleep in. I chose it for the location due to work commitments (opens into the Mall). View from room was awful - pipes etc. No iron provided with the room, safe vault did not work (lock not working), power socket next to bed did not work, extra towels did not smell good. Concierge welcome service not great. As good as a basic hotel on this occasion.

Property and staff were great but the room location was very disappointing as all we saw was big air conditioning pipes.

Excelent place

Cash went missing after housekeepers made my room the first morning during my stay. The loss was reported to the executive housekeeper, the security manager and two other Kempinski team members once I noticed the loss after breakfast on the same day. I was told not to report to the police and let the Kempinski team to investigate. Investigation by the Kempinski team was done after one day, and nothing was found. I then decided to report to the police. The Kempinski team offered no assistance, tried to brush me off and rejected my request to cancel the rest of the booking (7 nights booking). I had serious concern about my personal safety and the safety of my belongings during the stay at Kempinski. The loss and the response of the Kempinski team caused not only monetary loss but also emotional stress. Terrible disappointment.

The front desk reception he have light at my sister my mother and sister ask for connecting room after finishing getting the key when they went up they found that these two rooms are not connected room again. She ask him if he can get a connected room. he said that I don’t have a connecting roomand when she said she will leave she will not stay in the hotel and duty manager he called. He said we can give you a connected room during that time they were very upset and they left the hotel he promised he will refund all the money.

Nice staff quick check in and attached to emirates mall

Excellent service with friendly staff. Room are clean and wonderful Valet parking is great. Very close to the mall. You can get into traffic when you plan to leave the hotel. So always give your self extra time specially during weekends I will definitely stay In this hotel again

The room was great and the location was as well. Being connected to a mall makes everything much more enjoyable because of the restaurants, shopping, and even other activities. The staff were great and very respectful. I would stay here again for sure.

It was a pleasure to celebrate my 48 birthday at the hotel with all there warm kind welcome . everything and everyone was perfect.

Traffic around the hotel was very bad

The maintenance of the hotel needs to improve, my tub was broke my entire stay even after reporting it, one of the two shower heads was busted and not fixed until two days later which housekeeping did not use water to clean those areas and or failed to report the issue as well. Overall the hotel room is very spacious and beautiful.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall it was very good short stay. The facility and the rooms are not new but well maintained. Breakfast was great. Being connected to the mall is a major plus. My only drawback was I requested couple of fever reduction pills at night so they sold me a relief package that includes many stuff (condoms, stuff for ladies and other things) that I didn’t need.. Other than that all was good.

Excellent location and Hotel's staff were very helpful and professional.

Expedia forgot to mention to the hotel that my breakfast was included and Expedia didn't respond to hotel nor my long chat with them. However the the hotel front office manager was kind enough to offer breakfast on behalf of the hotel really disappointed with Expedia on this account. Nor did I receive any benefit of being an Expedia gold member.

The hotel was great, the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was accommodating and check-in was super. Being connected to the Mall of Emirates is great, especially if you travel with kids.

I have mixed feelings. The first room I was assigned smelled of cigarettes smoke and it took a while for them to find me a new room, although eventually they did any it was fine, although it did not have the view I had requested and was very noisy due to proximity to the highway. They did call me after two days to offer to move me to a quieter room with a nicer view, which was exceptional customer service. I would also say that the location has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, if you like to shop, it is literally connected to the Mall of the Emirates. So you are only 3 mins from food and shopping and do not even need to go outside of the weather is hot. However, this also means it is not really relaxing like if you stayed on the Palm J or at the Marina. Even by the pool, there was always lots of traffic noise.

Conveniently located

Awesome stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel location is quite convenient. The room was quite comfortable for a family of 4 of whom are 2 young boys. Breakfast had a bit of everything imaginable. Overall, no complaints and would probably repeat if we go back to Dubai.

This is our favorite hotel in dubai. Very effective and attentive staff..pool guys are fantastic and always welcoming so are even door men. Reception personal is effective. Minus wifi was acting up a lot this time..
