Great location inside the Reggio Emilia town, nice setting and conditions. Staff is welcoming and very professional. Quiet place and outstanding breakfast buffet. Walkable distance to bus station. Shopping and food/bars around the corner.

Lovely people, great location, great breakfast (I can recommend the doppio cappuccino also!). Spacious room and very helpful front desk who helped us with restaurant bookings.

The property could not have been in a better location. Although you do need a car to get to the hotel from the train station it was still within ten minutes. We used Reggio Emilia as a home base throughout our stay and found it to be a good decision.

Overall a good stay. A little difficult to find late at night since some streets were only pedestrian and phone maps didn’t indicate that (not the hotels fault of course). Nice stay and nice they have a 24 hour check-in available also.

The service, place and location were fantastic. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning (they only turn it on during the summer and May, while hot and muggy, doesn’t count) and the mattress (which was very hard). Everything else was great!

It was wonderful. The room and bathroom and tub was spotless. Bed was super comfy. But it was expensive for this city you can find cheaper. But other than that it was wonderful.

Very nice room, very large with large bathroom as well. Location is city center with proximity to many restaurants, parks and attractions.

A very nice hotel in the center close to all important sights

Albergo delle Notarie is well situated - right in the centre of Reggio Emilia. We arrived by car, which is a little tricky - negotiating all the tiny streets. But once we were there, the doorman helped us unload and we opted for the covered garage parking (€10) Our check in experience was very smooth. Our room was very clean and very spacious. Our feeling was that it was a little sparse - but it was also nice to have so much open space. The king bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. A highlight for us was the breakfast, which was included. It was a beautiful continental buffet with lots of local tastes - including Parmigiao Reggiano of course! Also pastries and fruit, yogurt, cheeses and meats. Very very good. If we stay there again , we may ask if there is a room with a view.

Great staff and great restaurant. Lost an item there and they searched for it after the fact and mailed it to us. Would definitely stay again
