We chose this hotel as its very near beach and the active nightlife areas. But it provided a little oasis of peace and quiet and the pool was great.

Nice hotel with good location. Need to cross a road to go to the public beach. We thought it was way too chaotic so we only stayed by the pool area at the hotel that was very nice and peacefull. The only negative thing is that the moment you leave your sunbed the stuff removes your towels so it looks like its available. We had to go to the room to pick up couple of things. By the time we got back 10-15min later our sunbeds were already occupied by somebody else. We found it also to be quite expensive in terms of food and drinks at the hotel compared to prices right outside! There are tonns of restaurants with good drinks and food options around the hotel. Clean and quiet, very happy with that.

Far Too loud music in the breakfast area…likely to try and overcome the acoustics.
Selection of cookies/sweet above expectation but the food and particularly the selection/choices could be significantly improved. Not much to eat for children/teenagers.
Close to night market shopping by walking distance just a few minutes anywhere you want to shop or eat. Cheap massages around the corner. Good quality dentist in the facilities. Amazing prices vs Sweden!
Lovely cleaning staff trying to do their best to keep standards high. 2 bottles of water per person and day. Lovely beddings…the duvet and pillows are of high standard. The main beds quite hard but I asked for an extra bed which was more comfortable. No extra charge.
Internet/WIFI was excellent within the hotel area.
Not much activities in the hotel even if offered…the travelers choose to dine outdoors to a large extent.
Pool areas and gym great!
Overall I would score it as the 4 star hotel it is.

The hotel is perfect for a family. The pool is amazing. Food is great and the kids club is great for little ones. Happy I choose this hotel and I would come again.

Well located on a quieter stretch of Patong but yet has easy direct access to the beach, numerous F&B options and walkable to Jungceylon Shopping Center. Hotel grounds and rooms are well maintained and comfortable, especially for the new refurbished blocks. Only minor complaint is that check-ins are usually busy around late afternoon and I had to wait on two separate occasions I stayed here.

The staff are beyond helpful. We missed our luggage from our flight from Philippines and the staff that tend us gave his best to offer help. Location is safe. Walking distance to some shopping place. I recommend the place.

The location is convenient. Walking distance to the beach, lots of pool and kids friendly activities within the hotel. Things to improve: the information transfer from Expedia to the hotel is missing. When booking via Expedia, special request has been made in the note; whereby prefer to have two rooms with connection link or side by side. However when checkin, the message was not known to the hotel at all.. Thus the family has to separate into two levels.

immediately fell in love with the hotel and the decision at first sight. The location is amazing. Rooms are really great, clean. I wanted a king bed but the double beds were comfy enough for me to compromise without changing the room with the possibility of losing on the best view in the hotel. I arrived early in the morning (8am arrival flight to phuket) the reception staff (Belgis) queen of shiba made sure to prepare my room asap and by the time i reached the beach and explored the pools it was ready way earlier than normal check in time so I give the hotel team full credit for the hospitality and swiftness in action. A hotel worthy of the Marriot brand name.

3/4 if the property is under renovation but, still they have a beautiful hotel but, there was a few things. I didn’t like being put into an adjoining or lockout room but, it was ok till the last day of our stay when they put a guy in the other room that was a loud talker. We had to move rooms butt, the room they did give us was so much better than the one we had been living in for 4 nights!! On the ground floor. All in all it was a nice stay

This is a great location, with lagoon pools and a fantastic breakfast. The resort will benefit greatly from it's upcoming renovations. The Beach Road side is especially disappointing, for an area overlooking the beach. All the other beachfront resorts make very good use of their areas, with bars and dining options. Merlin has allowed this area to deteriorate, and is in disrepair.

Hotel looks old need a revamp..pools are great. Needs a more modern fower sitting lounge area...have a dj playing tunes at the bigger pool would be a nice touch...cocktails are terrible. Not enough alcohol...more varieties in cereals for breakfast...
