There was nothing we disliked about Hotel Grodek. It was a lovely little Hotel and the staff were super-friendly and very helpful. The Hotel is superbly located and is excellent value for money. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting krakow.

Excellent hotel friendly staff great location

Hotel Grodek is on a quiet side street right in the Krakow Old Town. It has lots of charm, each room and the hallways are carefully decorated. We liked that we could easily walk to most things, and were close to the lively old town square but were able to retreat to a quiet street away from the crowds.

The staff was full of good will, but perhaps just a little inexperienced. It was an average property; and certainly not a 5 star property. To be a 5 star establishment requires exceptional facilities and exordinary attention to detail. They provide a respectable 3 star experience.

Best Hotel we stayed at in Krakow, PL. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here for three nights. The only reason I am giving three stars is the beds were very uncomfortable. Typical of many other hotels in Europe, small and really just two twins pushed together.

After being on the phone with hotels.com for over an hour trying to get them to book us a new place and the outsourced phone operator not being able to do it I went ahead and booked Hotel Grodek on my own in a bout 2 minutes online. Hotels.com was supposed to pay for it because we were given a different apartment at another location that was a scam. There was a lot of confusion. Hotels.com did not pay for the 2 rooms we did, so we now paid for two separate places on our own because of hotels.com error. This was not the fault of Hotel Grodek but we went from a place that was supposed to be a 3 bedroom apartment to 2 very small hotel rooms. I think up to 2 adults could have a lovely time staying here, but it's not great for a family stay. Supposedly they had one bigger room but they were not willing to give to us unless we could pay even more of a fee. After all we had been through that night we were not willing to do that. This was only for 2 nights and is a totally acceptable stay in Krakow. Note: The receptionists were kind and helpful and tried to understand the confusion with hotels.com that is now also expedia and is not a good service anymore, but it just wasn't working. The shower is awful. The shower head does not stay up at all, but otherwise, it is a nice hotel for a short stay.

The rooms were a bit more basic than as advertised online but the location and service were great.

Service was excellent. The reason for the low review was the air conditioning. We were there 3 days and it did not work!!! Despite multiple requests no one came to repair it. That is completely unacceptable for a five star property!!! With temperatures in the 90s this was not pleasant.

Would surely recommend this hotel to any Krakow visitor

This was great.

Proximity to the main square provided many opportunities to explore the area around the hotel. All amenities were at hand the hotel has character and old world ambience. Loved it!

Excellent stay and helpful staff - Ark/Arc (can't remember spelling of his name) was able to recommend a great restaurant and make us feel very comfortable & welcomed. Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

This hotel is brilliant, with very friendly and super helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel ensures for a quiet stay , but is perfectly situated to walk in and around the Old Town. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kraków.

We spend 3 nights with the family to see Krakow. Excellent hospitality and location

The hotel is excellent, the only trouble is the parking, which is 400 m away. Although I knew it is difficult to park in the Old Town, but seeing the information about the on-site parking I thought it would be closer...

Would go back there again. Sweet cosy room. Excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and efficient. Only two very small things: art pics on wall are pretty violent and some outside shine kept going o and off. I’m a light sleeper so maybe wouldn’t bog the next person. Pro’s far outweigh this.

Professional and pleasant staff

The deluxe double room we had was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had that boutique feel. Breakfast was also plentiful and well laid out. As for location, a 3 min walk is all it took to be in the center of the old town.

The Grodek was a beautiful and well maintained property in an excellent location! Available breakfast was quite expansive and tasty. The entire staff was friendly and professional.

It was not a 5 star hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was close

Didn’t get the room I expected. First night was in a room facing the street and was woken up by garbage trucks. Changed rooms and was quiet. Breakfast not worth the cost at all.
