Hi. The checkin experience was really poor. the lady staff agent did not greet, no even hello. was busy with another call and just waved me to a colleague who was busy, then she did my checkin, again no hello/good evening etc. really rude.
my room (room 503) had no hand soap. i needed to call housekeeping. they did not answer. i had to call reception, that took a very long time to answer the call. eventually a security team member was sent to bring me soap. this individual was very polite which i appreciated. overall the service level at checkin was extremely disappointing.

Worst experience of my life. The condition of the entire hotel was horrible. It looked so dodgy. The breakfast was terrible. So many options to choose from , but nothing tasted good at all. Our stay at this hotel was a complete waste of make y.

Must be the smallest bed I have slept in, feet dangling off the end. I am 6ft tall but bed much shorter.

Man in business centre was too interested in watching something on the laptop . Not helpful in getting a photo of a document on Whattsapp printed . He said it’s not showing up on the printer while the ladies at reception managed to print the very same after I sent it via email like to the guy in the business centre .

The accommodation was clean and good value for money. The hop on and off bus leaves right outside the hotel and it is in walking distance of the train station and Nelson Mandela Square

Excellent, albeit my trip wasnt business related, it had a perfect desk and connectivity for WFH etc which many may find favourable. The bar staff were a little under trained and seemed to struggle with anything greater than 1 instruction or order at a time. This was a very basic and I could see how patrons may get frustrated, but they were friendly etc throughout. Will stay again.

hotel is not in a good condition. Rooms are old aircons does not work fully. Landline number does not connect and email addresses comes back returned. Basic breakfast and do not cater for halaal

A political party congress on at the same time so hotel was very, very crowded. Very noisy, especially at night. Almost impossible for individual guests like myself to use the dining room or bar.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. Very neat , secure and healthy environment. However improvement should be made on variety of breakfast food as well as fruits variety. I had to buy most of the fruits from outside e.g grapes, pears.
-The hotel is supposed to be cigarette smoking - free but l experienced smokers in my floor though l had requested smoke- free zone.
- Attention should be made to the rooms before a client comes in. My room's Safe cabinet was not working and they could not open it, l had to be changed to another room.

I stayed one night at this hotel. I chose it because I had previously stayed at Holiday Inns in the United States and they were always nice. However, though this hotel in Sandton looked good, I was displeased because the bedsheets smelled as though they were not changed. I didn't pay my money to get dirty sheets. Shame!

I arrived at 20:00 and the hotel had no record of my booking although it was booked and paid for through Hotels.Com. The front desk staff was very helpful in trying to find a room. Unfortunately I had to settle for a room that is in desperate need for upgrading and a coat of paint. There must have been a spill of some kind as the carpet on side of the bed was soaking wet. Definitely not what I paid for. However, I stayed here before and it was the first time I had a bad experience.

Property was fine. Expedia’s booking was a disaster. Specifically searched with Filter for Hotels with Breakfast only to find out the hotel I booked did not include. Poor experience! Next time will book direct with hotel.

Room size was good. Linen good. Bead headboard damaged. Carpet dated and slightly stained. Free Wi-Fi not very fast. 2 lifts painfully slow. Decent enough for a night or 2.

The stay wasn't the best. The service was very very average. When buying drinks I asked said I would come and settle the bill after as I was in a meeting but was interrupted. They knew who I was as it was my 4th night staying there. Also I asked for late check which was agreed and when I went to confirm they said there was no rooms available. I went back again after checking online which showed half the hotel empty and they apologized. I said it was unnecessary to lie but they didn't seem to care. Will probably look elsewhere in my next visit. Wifi was also intermittent
