Nice mediun size pool but too warm water in February due to low depth and all the day in sun without shade. Friendly and helpful reception personnel. The rooms have electric mosquito killers which was s big plus. Excellent Android TV with big flat screen and wifi. Excellent breakfast. Two slow coffee machines had problems all the time, which caused a long queuing of coffee. Rooms are old fashioned, worm and need to be renovated. This hotel is rated as a four stars hotel, but is today not more than a three star hotel. Rooms look like if they were twenty years old without no face lifting. Corners of the rooms are dirty. Rooms are also very dark, lights are bad. Bed was specially designed style, but not good for sleeping. No free space for luggage and clothes. You need to put them on the floor or on the small tables. Wardrope space is missing. Cleaning is not working well. The cleaner lady forget many times the cleaning and changing of towels and water bottles of our room. Most of the personnel din't understand English at all. The receptionist anyway speaks good English.

Not a vip access property very small rooms not worth it

Very nice experience from start to finish, as we only stayed one night. We rented a room adjoining the pool, which was very convenient and unique. I will definitely stay here again in my future travels. Breakfast was nice as well. They also have a locking bag area for your bags.

I would still be there, but they raise the rates too high and I can’t afford to stay there for another month if I could I would’ve

The room was very nice,well decorated,bid one, location is exactly in the middle between two central areas, all services are around. Good choice for breakfast,good pool with pool bar. Noise isolation was not good though, we had a room infront of the main corridors and it felt like people were talking in our room, but they were just passing by outside. Also hotel does renovation of the main entrance right now, so it was very loud during a day,but it seems like they are almost done. Missing restaurant at the hotel to be honest, just room service. But as we understood they were building some area for it.

Average stay, we experienced a few problems. When we arrived there was a lizard in the room, the lighting was awful, the fridge was leaking and had a foul smell, we informed the staff about this and nothing was done. To top it off, we were charged upon check out for a missing glass in the room… why would we steal a basic glass worth £2? The room was also very dated. All in all, an average stay.

It's a really nice hotel with competitive price. Clean, comfy, staff are very friendly and helpful. Welcome drink is a very nice touch! Room is spacious and clean, the only small complain I have is the lighting of the room is too dim, if I want to read something, it's very difficult for me to do that. I would definitely return to this hotel!

Have been staying at the same hotel for the past 8 years. Time to upgrade the hotel facilities. Need to bring travel adapter, hotel key are physical kind. Lift stops operating in the noon and at night and the staircase are pitch black. Room keeper always appear at 10am, can’t sleep in if you don’t do any water activities they will just open the door even when you told them to come later

Safe location, close to dinning, shopping, night market and beach area. Only issue was only 1 key was provided for a 3 guest room and inconvenient for other 2 guests as key needs to be in room for a guest staying in the room for lights/AC. Key drop off to the front desk was an option but really not a solution in terms of privacy needs of in and out of the room for all guest.

Staffs are very kind and responsive. The only thing I do not like is that they dont provide coffee packet in the morning because they ask us to come down to Breakfast hall to have cofee at 7am.

It was in an ideal location. Very easy to get around town. The 7/11 was a life saver and the food was amazing. Tried mango sticky rice for the first time and had it everyday!

Loved this hotel it was clean and in a great location and the service was amazing!

Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't like was they only have shutters on windows that allow the sun to wake you up very early. Also, if you have special deals like we had free cocktails and mini bar, make sure you are very clear on what you get and where you get it. We were told just order a cocktail and it will be free, only to find out we should of been given a coupon and we now have to pay for our drinks. After some negotiating this problem was solved though. I would stay there again.

This was a great hotel with a nice atmosphere and an amazing pool. The complimentary breakfast buffet was great but the room was a bit noisy due to the lack of windows. The hotel is fairly open concept throughout, with no walls or windows in parts of the hallways, etc., which is nice because it allows the outside breeze to cool the space and makes it feel more expansive.

Always seem to go back here ..love the pool its a good size ..breakfast is good with an extensive choice...no early check in or check out available they are busy at this time of year .overall a pleasant relaxed stay ..would recommend

Brilliant hotel great location the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was great I can’t fault anything. Just a short walk from some great beach front bars to watch the sunset. Close to the local night food market and the Landmark night market is a steady stroll away

This property is in dire need of a deep clean and general maintenance. When we arrived the pool was filthy. We reported this to the reception staff and the pool filtration system was clearly put on, but it took 2 days for the pool to be clean. Rooms weren't as clean as they could be and neither was a lot of the property. Staff were very nice and friendly and the breakfast was very good. Good selection of food for people from a variety of countries. The hotel was generally noisy overnight so not a place to go if you are a light sleeper or looking for peace and quiet. You could hear people in other rooms - kids running about, TV, people scraping furniture across floors etc. The location of the hotel is good. Just off the main road, close to the beach and close to Ao Nang as well, with a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants close by

Staffs were friendly and pool is decent size and nice. There are promotion menu and pool bar. However house keeping standards is below average, we booked a room for 4 pax, 3 of us turn up but constantly being replenished for 2 pax towels and water. They were short of staffs for housekeeping. 4pm and still nnot cleaned on some days. No blanket for the 2nd bed, have to ask for it. Room condition is a little run down and there are spider webs in some area. linens were different colours.

Nice and clean, friendly staff

I had a 3 night stay at Red Ginger Chic. Check-in was quick & easy, & the staff were very friendly & welcoming (& thanks for the late check-out.) Room was clean & comfortable, with a nice, big balcony. I was very impressed by the various eco-friendly things that were in place throughout my room & the hotel. Food options, incl breakfast, were basic but good. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants, stores, services & the beach, or a 3-5 minute tuk-tuk to the bars & clubs. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to take a swim, but the pool looked great! Only negative of the stay is that the WiFi was a bit patchy sometimes, but that is a very minor thing. I would be very happy to stay at Red Ginger Chic again, or recommend it to others, when visiting Ao Nang.

Staff could be more friendly. Overall the hotel was good just need to maintain n upgrade a little.

I like an interior design of this hotel and some facility such as beach mat,beach towel and bicycle for rent with free of charge. Welcome drink, service,pool and breakfast is good. Location is great. Reccommended.But i didn't like a bathroom door. It have a loud noise when open and close.
