Ran out of stuff for breakfast at 9am :(

Everything was perfect

While most of the staff at the hotel was very friendly, our room was not serviced in any way from Friday check-in to Monday check-out. When I requested towels and wash clothes from I believe the owner, I was told to find housekeeping on the second or third floor and ask them? Anything in the room that had cloth coverings ie, chair and window seat were grossly stained. Shower head was covered in lime build up and faucets had soap scum on them.

The facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous. Close to dining and other shopping. Easy access to the tollroad.

Microtels are exactly what we need when traveling: a comfortable and affordable place to sleep that is close to the highway. Their consistency between locations is also a plus, as we know well what to expect.

Bed was clean and a nice sleeper! Probably could handle renovation before to long!

Of course, a Microtel room is smaller, but we had everything we needed.

Front desk person upon sign-in was ok, not overly welcoming or helpful, but ok. Person at desk on sign out apparently spoke no English, or appeared not to. Not even a one-word ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ or ‘come again’ and appeared very annoyed we interrupted whatever she had been doing. No eye contact, nothing, which to us was rude. Definitely not a good representative of Wyndham. NOT GOOD. Hotel itself was ok; I didn’t realize a Microtel had smaller rooms than a regular hotel. Now I know. One bed had a metal frame underneath, to block items from straying far under the bed. The metal framework made a buckling sound every time one of us rolled over, got out of bed. Very disturbing to sleep. Tried to explain to maintenance and front desk, they could not understand English. Otherwise the room was ok. I had accumulated enough points previously that I designed this stay as $0. Nothing lost, but what we gained is a bad impression of their ‘customer service.’ Will not return.

This is a great hotel for people on a budget. It’s an older facility but some updates have taken place. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic, with a small fridge for yogurt, prepackaged muffins, bagels, pop tarts, oatmeal and granola bars, as well as a waffle maker and crockpot of potatoes. I had made two separate reservations and asked if I could keep the same room and they quickly accommodated my request. I would stay here again if I was in the Elkhart area.

room was sufficient, nothing special, but good for price. Not great staying with a toddler due to height of the beds, and the metal frames which were at "head height". Prefer a room with sink/counter outside of the toilet/bath/shower area.

The place could've been a lot cleaner.

When I arrived nobody was at the window, but someone came pretty quickly. The room was small but nice. It was clean. The walls are thin so I could hear the people around me yelling and stuff. The first morning housekeeping came by. The second morning they did not & I was out of towels and needed trash removed & more coffee supplies. I called the office and they brought some toilet paper and a few packs of coffee but nothing else so that was kind of subpar. When I checked out I planned on grabbing breakfast before my 10 hour drive back home since they said breakfast would be out until 10 am.. but the lady started backing it up soon as I got there at 930am.. which again was disappointing. Overall, for the price I guess I can’t complain, you get what you pay for lol.

This hotel was not very well cleaned. The rooms look outdated. There were dead bugs along the edges of the walls. Did not give off a clean, refreshing vibe.
