The pool was lovely, the restaurants had good food, good staff, there was a nice variety and we generally had a lovely stay.

I have been luck to have traveled around the world. Sun Gardens is without question the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff, the room, the service, the views are EXCEPTIONAL

I had a wonderful time at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the amenities are top-notch. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My only issue was with the Cilantro restaurant—the menu felt out of place for the resort and didn’t quite meet expectations. Overall, though, it was a great experience, and I would still highly recommend the resort. 4/5 stars.

Beautiful property. Several pools and restaurants.

A fantastic resort but it has become very expensive. Their currency has changed to euros and things have doubled since my last visit 2 years ago which is a real shame. It is however a stunning property and a very special place to visit. The staff are incredible.

All of the service staff are great, can’t do enough for you. The pool areas and beach are lovely with plenty of sunbeds. There are dining options on site which are all pretty average but passable. Bear in mind that after 10pm there is literally nothing to do. One bar stays open until midnight but it has all of the charisma of an airport lounge. Quite far out from Dubrovnik town, about a 25 min car journey each way.

We loved that it was situated right by the sea.

Wonderful 5* resort with the best facilities. Very attentive staff. Nice restaurants on site but some are a bit expensive. Would highly recommend hiring a car to get out and about to explore some nearby beautiful smaller towns & villages.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff and facilities

The property is fairly new or recently renovated, rooms are very clean, view from the balcony is amazing, the sauna is a must to try, many restaurants, food was ok, not the best, personnel is very kind and attentive, room service is very good. The hotel is outside the city, you need a bus, uber or boat ride to get to the old town

We visited Sun Gardens and enjoyed our stay. Lovely atmosphere and views were stunning. What we did not like was there were not enough ramps( we have a 1 year old baby with pushchair) So we would have to hold the pushchair up and down the stairs) Unfortunately our flight was cancelled and that was the afternoon we were checking out. We felt the staff could have been a little more helpful assisting us on where we could stay etc But felt a little let down by the lack of help at the end. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Very nice hotel with a great view. The staff was extraordinary friendly. There is a great beach with nice beds and there are not too many people there. The restaurant were great as well and the breakfast had a very good variety. Especially the barkeeper and waiters were very friendly and nice too

We loved it. Perfect for working remotely. Great WiFi. Lovely athmostphere for conducting virtual business meetings with our European partners

Amazing place, amazing staff!!

The property is unique, serviced by professional staff. The property and its grounds are very well maintained. It has been a wonderful stay. I am planning to come back and stay for a longer period.

Amazing stay at Sun Gardens for our anniversary. It is a "resort" with all that entails, but we never felt that it was ever too crowded. Staff was great. Use the concierge services, they are v helpful. We splurged for a club level room, which I would recommend. You can take your breakfasts on a roof top balcony and have access to a club lounge all day. The facilities were great. This was a great place for us, as it was v peaceful and relaxing-away from tourist crowds in Dubrovnik. But close enough that we could get into Dubrovnik for nice meals. The only downside to Sun Gardens is that the food is not great. Breakfasts are gery good. But the rest of the food does not really match a resort of this caliber. We went into town and had a couple of amazing meals, so its was not a big deal to us.

Resort experience approx 20 minutes outside Old Town. Three large pools, beachfront loungers. Gorgeous scenery. Elegant and quiet. We only stayed for one night but wish we stayed much longer!

Fantastic hotel with a luxurious feel. Great food in the different restaurants and an incredible breakfast. The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly.

It was nice except: 1) there is a huge lack of lifts and WCs outside of the main building. Travelling with a pushchair is challenging 2) the costs of food at the restaurants and in the grocery are daylight robbery. A box of cereal for €8? A portion of fries at the pool €12? For a family of four expect to spend at least €160 for dinner in any of the restaurants. More like €200 with most starters beginning at €20 and mains from €30/35. The hotel wants to be Sani or Ikos without the same range of options. That said, the food is good, the pools are nice (albeit understaffed), the small beach is decent enough, the sports centre is pretty good (although gym is small). It all came back to the silly costs in the resort. Just gave us a bad taste.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Sun Gardens. Our rooms were great, very comfortable, clean and a good size. The beds were excellent. The overall hotel was lovely with great pool and beach areas and promenade with restaurants, ice cream shop and wine bar. Our kids loved the beach. We did however have an issue with the wet room shower with water sitting on the whole bathroom floor for a number of hours after showering, this was never resolved. There was a bit of inconsistency in the quality of food and drinks across the hotel. Drinks at the beach were not great and overpriced for what they were however the lounge bar drinks were much better. We visited 3 restaurants, 1 for pasta not so good, 1 for meat which was average and the Croatian restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also of a good standard. Service was also inconsistent and not what I would have expected from a 5 star resort. Staff at the beach were great and there was enough staff however staff at the pool bars were not as helpful, seemed under pressure and not fully resourced. It was a mix at breakfast depending on where we were sat. Sports facilities and the kids club were excellent. However some staff were not as helpful as others. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the hotel but would say that with the cost of rooms, food, drink and activities I would have expected better and more consistent service from a 5 star hotel.

Amazing Hotel and great service

Huge property with plenty of pools overlooking the sea. It is so big (depending on your room) you could be walking a lot. Also it's a little bit farther away from old town Dubrovnik (approximately a 20 minute drive) but overall I would say this was a great place.

Amazing property! We loved the pools and the walk out to the beach.

Our stay was amazing. Staff is incredibly helpful. Great food and activity options. Onsite grocery store was well stocked. Would definitely highly recommend.
