could have more variety food. Require better cleanliness

Toilets not so clean. Bed sheets could have been more fresh and clean. No dental and shaving kit. No phone number mentioned anywhere for reception.

Staff not able to help immediately..they don't have Alternate options to if rooms have any problems. AC was horrible..sound not able to sleep

They didn't give me a room in spite of having confirmed booking with my family.
Resaon was given to me that I belong to mangalore. People who are 100 to 150 km radius were not allowed to take the room in Hotel ginger. Worst experience for me.
I told them it's for the family not a bachelor.
Staff are rude.
Staff told me any local ID proof we will accept for booking.
What do you mean by local ID proof?

Condition of the property was not as expected from a chain hotel, even if it is a budget chain.
There was a peculiar smell from the AC unit, which was also very noisy (Voltas, brand owner same as owner of the hotel!)
However, the staff was very polite, helpful and hospitable

Its a no frills hotel which is convenient and comfortable for a short duration stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The reception staff were awesome. The dining staff and the housekeeping staff seemed a little apprehensive- I believe it could be due to language problem. They should be more confident and forthcoming! The security staff were very hospitable! Overall it was a good stay!

Ginger is owned by Tatas. I had high hopes when I reserved my room. Unfortunately the place is rather run down. There is only 1 small elevator and the rooms have seen better days.I wish the management would do a renovation.

Check in was hassle free. However issue faced with regard to obtaining authorisation for the chip based room key. Personal request needed to be made with reception for this

staff service was very hit and miss, mostly miss. way too far from town, meaning constant haggling with autorickshaw drivers..too much of a hassle

never ever stay in Ginger Mangalore... spoke to another guest also he also have the same opinion... the bed sheets are so dirty.. whats the use of paying these rent and stay in such hotels... never again

Mangalore Ginger is as good as any Ginger Hotels.Espsly, when there is an attractive offer, it becomes more intresting.
With the break fast included and the free WIFI it is the brest offer one can reject.
We had nice and enjoyable stay, we shall come back again Ginger Mangalore, Thanks.
