The hotel wasn’t open when I booked my stay but still listed on hotels.com

Overall, good but not great hotel. Nice common areas, good lobby bar, breakfast and spa. The furnishings in the rooms are worn out and with stains. The family apartments are in separate buildings with no indoor connection to the main building where all amenities are located (which is not great in winter). Location is close to the mountain but away from the town. The shuttle service to the gondola worked well.

The hotel has a great sauna ans pool. The rooms are relatively big.There is no safe in the room, the shuttles are good however sometimes they dont operate.

Gorgeous apartment with everything you need. Hotel a walking distance from the centre alternatively you can get the free shuttle bus to the centre every 15minutes. I would happily stay here again.

We booked for a family of 4, and stayed in the apartments behind the main hotel building. We had a kitchenette, seated area (with a sofa bed), an adjoining bedroom with a large double bed and separate full size single bed. The batnroom was spotless with shower, large bath, hairdryer and a tumble dryer. The front desk staff and porters in hand. There was a full choice at breakfast catering for all tastes with plenty of seating. The front desk were very helpful and were more than ready to organise the lift passes for you each evening. The shop on site has a cash machine and a good range of supplies, that allowed us to shop for snacks to take to the slopes for lunch. There is a complimentary bus to and from the gondol, we didn’t use it however as we were more than happy with the straightforward walk that only took 10-15 minutes.

Large hotel with some good staff but noisy corridors and lacking any real class

Nice place to stay for 2-3 nights Good location, WiFi is stable, supermarket in the hotel is very good!

We had a roomy studio and the bed mattress was typical for this part of the world. We prefer more comfortable pillow top, but they are not common here. We were disappointed in the number of English speaking channels on the TV and the internet was poor.

We had really great stay...the lady on the reception when we arrived was so nice and welkoming, the same the girl on the loby bar... We got a nice room with a nice view, clean and comfortable...breakfast excellent, waiters always smiling... Wonderful spa...we looking for to return again

Very good hotel. Minor problem with garage parking (cards did not work) but other than that all was nice. Breakfast was great, pool was amazing, spa and kids place. Would stay again ! Shuttle bus to Gondola and nice cafeteria to relax. Jacuzzi and sauna were also nice and clean.

We were pleased to stay in one of best hotels in Bansko

First of all they could not find my reservation and had to wait for 30 min before they finally decided to check us in. The room has no A/C and it was extremely hot. Outside temperature was around 36C and in the room was pretty much the same as our stay was in August.Next to our balcony was the cooling system for the general hotel areas and it was extremely noisy and was difficult to fall asleep. Overall this hotel might be good for winter vacation, but not for summer. Will not stay there again.

A good hotel with great spa facilities. Spa was excellent with steam, sauna, ice bath and a relaxation area. However, although it was clearly stated that no under 15 are allowed in spa, this clearly wasnt enforced as kids were going in and out of sauna, steam room making it less of a relaxing experience

Great overall experience! Spacious studio, almost like a one bedroom apartment. Nice location at the outskirts of Bansko, away from the crowds.

Just had a fab week in the St Ivan. Had a family apartment, including a kitchenette, which was modern and clean.The breakfasts weren't great quality but perfectly edible and the pool was chilly but fine once you were in. Otherwise, it was great, the free shuttle bus to the Gondola ran like clockwork, we had free Wifi in our room, the lounge bar was cosy and the beer was very cheap. The staff were really helpful in organising our skiing trip before we arrived and sorted out transfers for us to and from the airport.We will definitely stay there again as it was perfect for our family of four, but we will probably self cater for breakfast and eat out in the evenings, as there are many reasonably priced restaurants in the town.
