The Peaks Hotel is a solid choice if you’re looking to stay in the heart of downtown Banff, surrounded by a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, and attractions. It offers a reasonably priced option for the area, with some thoughtful touches like Toto bathroom fixtures that feel like a luxury bonus at this price point. If you’re traveling with a pet, be prepared for a steep pet fee of $175. On the plus side, parking is available in a convenient underground lot for $18 per day, complete with a self-serve car wash—a handy feature given how muddy your car can get on the drive into Banff.

Great location, modern bavarian style property, good bath amenities and beds, friendly and helpful staff, Peaks is literally 2 blocks from all of the action in downtown Banff. Staff made 2 restaurant recommendations and reservations...both were fabulous. As an Expedia traveler if you book the standard room type you will likely get a 1st floor room with no view or balcony, Still a nice room, we were hopeful for a better location but it was explained that this was the room type booked.

This hotel was the perfect choice in Banff for location and ability to walk around the beautiful town. The hotel itself is beautiful and feels like it’s brand new.

Property was clean and modern. Had kitchenette, which was nice to have. Front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with lots of tips. Check in was easy, but unable to use the Flexipass app for keyless entry. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the balcony with limited view as it was mostly looking at an alley and another hotel property. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Location was wonderful and pleased with the accomodations. We were close to all the shops and restaurants, but around the corner from the main area, so it was nice and quiet.

Pros - very walkable location, clean and bedding was comfortable. Cons - rooms on the back side of the hotel face an active alley for businesses, so expect some noise, trash pickup, business delivery and even a tour bus, bathroom counter space is very limited and we were placed in what must have been a handicapped room where the shower had just a curtain between it and the bathroom. Shower floor and bathroom floor had a limited slope so shower made half of bathroom floor wet. Good, not great and certainly not worth the rating shown on expedia.

Lovely staff and property! Everyone we encountered was very kind. We lucked out and despite it being booked at capacity, the hotel felt very quiet and peaceful. We loved everything about our stay!

Hotel is in a very good location. The room was cleaned everyday by the time we got back from breakfast. All staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions.

Great location and nice facilities. Hotel restaurants were across the street, so we never went, but the back door of the hotel is so central to the town, there was no need. The front of the hotel is on the edge of town coming in, so no need to get snarled in the inner town traffic.
Building itself was new and fresh and clean. Nothing fancy but nice mountain chic. Mattresses were very comfortable foam, and the AC was effective.

Room is abit small but quiet and modern. Toiletries are quite basic. Housekeeping is reponsive to requests. Reception staff are friendly. Hot chocolate, tea and water for guests at common area was a nice touch. Great location near dining options, transportation, airport transfers, supermarket.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is close/walkable to all restaurants but not noisy as it is located on a less busy street.

This is a brand new property with very nice rooms. It is an extension of nearby hotel so no facilities on premises. The other hotel facilities are mediocre. This is a 3 star hotel
So no help with luggage. Even though brand new we had excessive fridge and ac noise in the room. Overall, and we broke our own record for price paid for a 3 star, it wasn’t worth the price.

Our stay at the Peaks Hotel in Banff was absolutely great. What they did to accommodate us to prepare for our arrival of a large truck and what they did during our stay was exceptional. We will always remember how we were treated and we are very thankful to the staff there working on July 12,13, and 14 2024. Great hotel. Fantastic location to walk anywhere in the city of Banff.
