We have used this hotel a few times and always been very pleased with it. However this time, the room we were allocated was far too close to reception and main area. (I did request quiet room away from traffic but didn’t anticipate being disturbed by other noises). We were hearing the staff chatting, laughing etc early morning and the swing doors nearby were really annoying as they were used regularly and were quite noisy and late in evening and early morning was obviously more noticeable and not relaxing or peaceful. Could also hear people coming and going from inside/outside into reception area. All that being said, staff were very friendly, room and bed very comfortable, breakfast was lovely. Would not put us off going back but would make sure it was not Room 213!

Hotel is a bit dated but the staff and service were excellent. The food and drink are bith great and good value too. Woukd definitely use again.

Easy to find, good rooms, good breakfast, right next door to Battle of Bannockburn memorial which is quite interesting to explore during hotel stay.

The hotel dates from the 60’s and this shows in the older parts of the building. Our room was dated and there is mould around the windows and shower. Comfy bed. Also only one window so would be warm in the winter but also very warm in the summer. Staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was ample. Disappointed only sachet coffee for breakfast. I think very overpriced at ( the discount price ) of £105

Excellent for tourists as it was full of them from all over the world, food was very good but the menu is lacking more choices in my view breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here

Hotel looks very dated from outside and this continues inside. Dark brown furniture. In need of refurbishment. Plenty of parking.

The staff was great, and the restaurant was really good. The property is right on the bus line, which made it super convenient for me to go places without a car.

Good base for exploring Stirling. The restaurant on site does pretty well at dinner but the breakfast buffet was wanting. There are good places in town for breakfast.
Our room was fine, but it was interesting getting into the shower. There was a very high step into the elevated tub, and there were no handles or grab bars. Something to be aware of if you have limited mobility. The shower head was also low.

Very friendly staff and excellent value .Rooms are comfortable and shower is powerful and correct temperature. Dinner and breakfast are good value and freshly cooked . Plenty of on site parking too .

Was initially very impressed and delighted with the look and comfort of the room.Staff were very friendly & helpful. Dinner was nice. Bar stayed open till 1am which was great as I have insomnia.
However, the shower was barely lukewarm, and the heating went off during the night.

Well justified 3 star rating. Top quality bed, bedding, towels, curtains and bedroom furniture etc. Excellent shower.

The outside looks a bit sad in grey but my room was fresh, clean and modern.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Location is right next door to Bannockburn historical site and within a 10 drive to many sights in Stirling. Public transit bus stop is also right outside. Breakfast buffet was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Rooms look like they have been fairly recently refurbished, but hallways and exterior of the building could use a bit of a refresh. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The property was inexpensive, and was a reasonable value for the cost, but was not a superior property. The bed was fairly small and not terribly comfortable. The layout of the building is awkward, the rooms are small and in need of updating, the key card stock needs to be replaced (our key stopped working twice in two days), and the internet was nonfunctional in our room at the back of the property. However, breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. Again, for the cost it was a good value. But the cost was low.

Hotel staff were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. The only issue we had was that the room was too warm with no way to adjust the temperature and the bathroom light/fan was motion activated. The light would turn off while you were in the shower or on the toilet. We just had to regularly wave our hands around 😄
