Staff was excellent and friendly. Quiet and very comfortable rooms with a/c. Shops and restaurants close by.

I would avoid staying with children or if you are tall. Gets quite loud at night.

Fabulous location and hotel. Delicious sushi restaurant. Staff were warm and accommodating. Skip the breakfast - plenty of cafes nearby.

The room was very small. For the price (over $175 per night) it bordered on fraud. Moreover, although I was sure I had requested breakfast to be included I was charged over $30 for one of the most measly breakfasts that I ever gotten in a hotel, including the cheapest motels in America.

we only had three days to visit Zurich so needed a hotel that was within walking distance of all we wanted to do. This boutique hotel ticked all our blocks and we had a great getaway weekend.

A little expensive for us folks from United States for what you get w/ the price. Our room didnt even come w/ a toilet. The breakfast buffet wasnt worth the money.

The staff was friendly enough, this is a no frill hotel. shared bathroom outside the room which was not that bad. not having an AC in the middle of summer was brutal. to be fair, this is more common in Europe than one would think. When we decided that the heat was just unbearable and decided to go to a different hotel, they gave us credit for one of the nights we didnt stay but also charged for one. again to be fair, that is in keeping with the hotels cancelation policy. this is not a complaint about the staff. They were as nice as could be but a word to the wise, if youre going to Europe in the summer, DO NOT assume that all hotels will have AC

Reading the reviews helped us pick the property right for our vacation. We read the warnings about the Church bells and the noise of partiers when the windows were open. We definitely experienced noise but were prepared with our earplugs. The location was exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to the train station, major sights and lake tours. We loved having the option of breakfast in the morning or a drink at our hotel in the evening. Our room was cleaned very well everyday and the coffee machine refilled. An nice touch was the apples we could take everyday. Also, the Ricola throat candies were a nice Swiss bonus.

Not every room has a bathroom, so if that’s important to you then read all the fine print.

Surprisingly despite being a 4 star hotel not all the rooms have a bathroom in the room, so pls be aware when you make your reservation. There was a problem with the system when I arrived so I couldn't check in straight away. later there were a few times issues with the card which made me go up and down from reception to my room several times. Eventually, to apologise for all inconvenience, they gave a me a free upgrade in a room with WC (I didn't realise when booking I chose one without!).

Great location in the heart of Zurich cold city downtown. Fancy and quirky bar too. However the single room with a double bed I booked apparently turned out to be without a toilet. Like you have a personal shower room only in the room but use the common toilet on the floor. this was like a hostel to me for the price of a hotel.
