Really good menu for decent food & drinks. Comfortable room had character. Decent breakfast selection too. The number of disabled parking spaces needs increasing & a hotel workers van was blocking them causing problems for lunchtime OAP's.

A lovely place to stay and eat. I spent 2 nights at The Fleece Inn. The staff were all lovely and did everything they could to make my stay pleasurable. Food really is the star of the show, I had breakfast and dinner both days and it was something very special. My only negative experience was the bed (room 4) was a bit lumpy, but I slept fine nonetheless.

A fabulous one night stay with brilliant staff and gorgeous hotel in lovely surroundings. Booked at last minute but was highly delighted with it and will return soon for a repeat of a trip that we will never forget , this trip made our Christmas so special and memorable . A big thanks to all the staff who made our visit special and hope to see you in the new year ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

After our holiday was cancelled because I have to work for half-term, we decided to sneak one night away and chose The Fleece Inn. It was perfect. The room was cosy and clean and the kids loved the mezzanine sleeping area. We had dinner and breakfast there too, and both were excellent. The quality of the food on Friday evening was superb. If I’m to be picky, my cocktail wasn’t great and I found the pillows too big and hard, but these are very small niggles, provided only in the interests of balance! The stay was incredible value and we would love to stay again (Bringing my own pillow wouldn’t be a hardship). Well done to all at The Fleece - you have a great team producing fantastic results.

Great countryside location , lovely staff and nice food. Room was very clean and bed very comfy. One complaint about room - large metal curtain hold backs which stuck out and we bumped into them more than once ! The meals we had were really nice , but did think breakfast menu could have included more basics such as fresh fruit and cereals ,

Such an amazing pub, the food was amazing, the room was lovely and the staff were all excellent. The breakfast was superb, we will certainly return here again.

Very comfortable, clean and cosy room. Excellent food. And above all very friendly and helpful young staff who all take pride in the place and responsibility towards guests. Log fires made it nice and cosy while snow fell outside. Far-reaching views over the hills around. Look forward to returning in summer and sitting on the terrace at the back.

Very enjoyable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the room comfortable. The included dinner was excellent with a good choice from anything on the menu. The location and views from the hotel are very good.I had to teach on line whilst staying and the WiFi connection was fantastic.
