The people were always attentive, appreciated the guests and provided assistance as needed. I trust they are valued and management knows who management works for.

The hotel was a great location away from the main city centre with good travel connections. There is an abundance of good eating places in the evening as the hotel had no restaurant for evening meals. The staff were always helpful as my knowledge of the German language was limited. Good local shops in the area as well. Only criticism was the curtain in the room did not fully close properly so did not block out the morning sunlight!

Tolles Hotel in altem Kloster mitten in Kölns Südstadt.

We booked this hotel as a quick overnight stop en route from the Netherlands to Vienna, looking for just a simple place to crash for the night. What we found instead was a super modern hotel room, really well laid out, with huge operable windows overlooking a secluded courtyard in this former convent house. The "fitness center" is really just an elliptical machine and one other multi-purpose resistance machine, and the sauna looked like it had never been used. Neat library, nice bar, and a super short walk west to a shopping district with bakeries, restaurants, and coffee shops. Parking isn't available at the hotel, but we were able to park in an underground garage due east for €21.

The hotel was beautiful and we particularly liked the breakfast buffet, which had a wide selection of foods. The staff was very friendly and the location was great. The historic building has a very authentic charm.

Small hotel with a small number of staff, so do not expect exceptional service. Staff could be a bit warmer/friendlier but was fine. Probably the best Hotel in the area - the only one that is in the middle of the Südstadt neighborhood. I was there for a private solo trip and found it a fitting choice.

Nice Hotel, very peculiar. Value for Money considering the average prices in Cologne for those days I was not very happy with the staff to be honest, Some of them were cold and not really nice (not all of them) I was expecting another service from a 4 star hotel

My rating might have been higher, however the heat in the room (it was 36C outside and 28C) inside left me leaving the porch door open, but the noise from the adjacent kindergarten is making one crazy in the early morning.

Loved this place! Modern hotel in an old building - excellent service, clean and inviting rooms, lively area but quiet hotel. We only stayed one night but found it to be perfect for our needs.

The rooms are decorated in a modern style with no bedside tables. Very inconvenient. Pillow are very soft feather ones you need about 3 to be comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Great experience in this hotel which was an old church .... very modern remodeling and great rooms. Very quiet.

Stayed for Gamescom conference for business, the hotel meets the needs, clean, friendly, fairly priced (given other hotels significantly increase their prices during trade shows), would stay again.

Unfortunately throughout my three night stay my TV was not working. Staff notified on first day but nothing done to amend. However, 20 euros deducted from the bill for the inconvenience. Apart from that everything else was good.
