I chose Holiday Inn Express because I am used to a certain quality when uses this brand. This particulary Holiday Inn Express did not meet my expectations.

My room had dirty carpets with stains and rips. The bathroom was very dated and untidy. The entire place needs updating. Take your chances with the elevator. It was a very uncomfortable night. I will not stay here again

Second time we have stayed here. Great hotel! Transport to/from airport. Clean. Good breakfast. Nice patio in back of hotel overlooks Delaware River. Nice place to sit and relax. Staff and front desk very friendly and helpful! We definitely will stay there again next time we go to Philly

My family phone service did NOT work in the building. 5 ppl w different providers. It was NOT worth the amount paid for 2 rooms. I had to literally leave my room and go sit out front to answer calls, emails, and text!

The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The elevator needed to be vacuumed. The room was nice and clean but there was a prong from something broken off in one of the bathroom outlets. Breakfast was a fail. When I went down the coffee was empty, the decaf was cold, the half and half was empty. There was no eggs or sausage. The butter was empty.
We ended up just going out to breakfast.
The parking lot was old and run down and the river view from the deck was blocked by an old chainlink fence. It feels very unloved.

Overnight front desk clerk barely communicated why my credit card was being charged. His body language was so lazy. My room had no towels nor rags. Just a horrible experience.

Staff service and quiet location by the water made this a nice stay. For the hotel national star rating, this hotel was great for an early morning flight out of PHL.

Property is dated, and does not appear to be in desireable area. View of the Delaware River was very pretty. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was a nice benefit as well.

1st room had a musty smell that made me sneeze. 2nd room also had a weird smell and I didn’t figure switching rooms would fix anything. Rooms are just old and smelly. Breakfast was picked over/not refilled. Shower water was barely warm. I couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

Property is ran down. First room assigned had a running toilet. The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating and switched out the room right away but when I arrived in that room I had to report that the curtain was badly ripped. Throughout the night the refrigerator was loud not allowing me to fully rest.

The absolute worst hotel experience after spending almost 2 months straight staying in hotels. The walls are paper thin and it’s after midnight and I’ve complained to the front desk 3 times about the noise coming from the adjacent room with still no resolution. I need to get some rest. I considered checking out and relocating to another hotel which gives an indication of how lousy the experience staying here is. This property js what people usually refer to as a dump. Sketchy is a better analogy for this hotel.

Arrived to check into my hotel room and no one was at the front desk. I had to wait over 15 min for someone to decide they wanted to do their job. There was a bug in my bathroom and a huge water spot on the ceiling. Now I know this isn't a five star hotel but I would of expected it to be a little nicer or at least be bug free. Won't stay here again.

The rooms are undated. Had stain on the bedding, chair in room, and curtains. The shower/tub also had stains. The flooring in the room was outdated and nasty looking…strongly advise wearing socks around the room. I wasn’t impressed at all!

It was clean, had shuttle sevice but an older property. Rooms needed renovation. Breakfast started at 7:00 a.m. i had to get to the airport at 6:30. You should see how many of your customers have to leave before you start breakfast.

We arrived late after our flight, all we needed was a place to sleep and the hotel provided that. Nothing fancy, room was a little small and had a little musty smell…likely from being riverside.

The Hotel was not exceptional, and the room was regular. It was perfect for a one-night stay over. Nothing else.

When attending events in Phila, this is always a go to property for us. It clean, quiet and easy to park with good room availability.
