This has to be the friendliest staff we've ever encountered! Even the guys cleaning up the autumn leaves were cheerful and waved. The room was clean, well-supplied, and well-appointed. The "deluxe continental breakfast" was just that - waffles, sausage and egg sandwiches, biscuits and sausage gravy, fruit, cereal, bagels, plenty of beverage choices, and to top it all off, fresh donuts from the bakery down the road that is owned by the owners of the motel.

Room was very clean...beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming...breakfast was a surprise..waffles..donuts...biscuits and gravy..fruit..yogurt and more! I expected coffee and danish and was pleasantly surprised...would not hesitate to stay again..or to recommend.

We loved this stay which was only made better by the community around it. The breakfast was really tasty. The biscuits and gravy tasted like they were made by a groups of Nana's.
Although this wasn't our experience, during breakfast, someone came in needing to check out a day early due to hurricane Helene. They worked with her to make sure she received a full refund and were so lovely doing so. Would stay here again.

I travel a lot for work and I always appreciate cleanness and comfort. This was one of those places that fulfilled my expectation. The cuteness and the cleanliness of this motel was just outstanding. Before I booked I read the reviews. And honestly it was just like the reviews. It was super clean and comfortable. Next time I am in Lancaster, PA I am definitely staying there again:)

This is great motel. Staff is super friendly. Nice outside areas for relaxing. Clean room and the mini-fridge was a nice bonus. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Room had a view of a brick wall. Ad led you to believe that there was a pool on property, you had to drive to another facility! Went to breakfast at 9:00 am. Out of oatmeal and no more was being made with an hour to go. Breakfast should have been going until 10 am! Air conditioner started and ran for 20 seconds and then shut off, did this all night long. Only thing I can say good is the maids kept the rooms very clean! Will not return to this place!

Very clean and well kept motel. The only thing that I could say that is a negative would be that the sofa could either use a cleaning or a cover on it. I would also suggest a curved out shower bar, we have really come to love those. Less chance of contact with the shower curtain. Staff was super friendly, we were really surprised by how well kept everything was. Parking lot was clean, room was extremely clean and fresh feeling, especially for an older motel. We would recommend this motel.

The Travelers Rest Motel: We were only there for one night and happy that our room was very clean and well-appointed. Nice park close by to take an evening and morning walks, also excellent cafe walking distance with baked goods, live music, and nice gift shop. A cut above continental breakfast served with warm smiles. Also plenty of ice to send us out into a sweltering summer day. Will definitely stay there again!

This was a mother/adult daughter 2 night stay. The motel was an older motel with front door parking. Well kept locally owned and very quiet. We did not have any problems with the room and appeared to be clean. The sink to the bathroom is located in the bed area which could be a problem for some visitors. The room had a coffee pot, mini fridge and small microwave. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Staff was SO welcoming. The rooms are small but cozy. The property is clean and the breakfast is GREAT. Better than any hotel breakfast I've had. The staff is very helpful and kind and all smiles. The motel has a small gift shop with awesome prices. We loved watching the horse and buggies go by. The pool you can use is close by and it isnt a hassle to get to or go in. They have 3 pools on the sister property and theyre all so big and we had no issues with crowding or anything. We loved this place and will definitely be staying here again when in the area. The shop had darling little amish dresses and their waffle maker has their horse and buggie logo on it. This made my kids' and our day. 10/10

Only thing I would note for families with young children it was concerning to me that there was no metal bar on the top part of the door to keep children from opening the door and walking out, for older children and adults this may not be an issue but for a 3 and 5 year old this was concerning to me. Still give them 5 stars as everything else was amazing. This is just something that at this stage in life is important to me… and maybe a suggestion to the property owner as I am sure I am not the only mom who is concerned about this. However I will reiterate the stay was amazing, the staff was great, room was clean and well maintained!

Wonderful motel! We loved our stay! In the heart of Amish country. The best continental breakfast ever! Breakfast included fresh Amish made pastries and great coffee from a local roaster. Staff was super friendly and helpful! The room and hotel decor was cute and appropriate for the area. We would absolutely stay here again.

The ambiance of the property is very relaxing and the grounds are beautiful. Everything is kept up. And the staff are all polite and accommodating. The motel is nearby the Amish sightseeing area.

Omg warm and inviting just right. My daughter was there for a basketball tournament and we stayed there. The staff was great warm and friendly. The place was clean and they lined up my daughters stuff animals she was so happy to see that.

Very clean and nice. Average continental breakfast. Simple. No restaurants in the immediate area open after 6 or 7 - it being Amish country. And even those had no vegan and extremely limited vegetarian options. Fairly expensive for what you get with the room although very clean and comfy. "No frills"

We come up every year, and try to stay someplace different. This is a very nice place. Clean, and quiet. You can sit outside and listen to the horse and buggy go by. I think we’ll be back to this one.

Lovely little property. Our room was clean and comfortable we were only there for one night, but will definitely be returning for a longer trip. Staff was very friendly and the surrounding area was lovely.
