Small boutique hotel - great location for visitors! Staff was terrific- helpful with area information, etc. Great breakfast- wonderful stay!

Great small hotel in perfect location, a few mins walk from main tourist area by the wharf and a 10 min walk from the train station. The bathroom design is a little odd but I knew that before picking this hotel based on the pictures, and it worked out just fine! Big nice breakfast buffet.

Very uncomfortable and small bed. Not a queen size, barely a full. No air conditioning, very loud room overlooking the Main Street. Small room, little privacy with the bathroom in the room. Was charged money for bringing a Service dog! First time in my life. Good breakfast. That is pretty much it. Many more better options in Bergen.

This hotel was close to everything. Close to the rail that takes you to and from the airport. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of options. Small fridge, kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Bed was comfortable. The only thing that some might have a problem with is that there is no door between the room and bathroom and there were no window that you can look outside, only floor to ceiling glass that was frosted. Overall I would definitely stay there again. I felt very safe as a female traveler.

This is an idiosyncratically designed boutique hotel. If you like black and purple decor you’ll love it. The room on one side have translucent glass windows. They let in light but you can’t see out. Main problem is that they don’t open. Combine this with a woefully inadequate AC system and the rooms are uncomfortably hot. We were loaned a small fan which helped a little. Not much thought has been given to the practicalities of hotel life. The shower and toilet have translucent glass doors which open on to the main room. As the shower door didn’t close properly this meant that water went all over the bedroom floor. Not a comfortable stay and I can’t recommend it.

Everything was great - staff especially. The only annoying thing was the air-conditioning could not be properly controlled. Our room had ait conditioning on when we tried to get warm air!!! Breakfast was superb

Good location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The lighting in the room was poor. The ac/ heater thermostat did not seem to respond. One of the staff brought us a portable heater.

Location is great, the hotel is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable. If it's litteraly just to sleep it's fine. But not a pleasant place to stay : no natural light in the room, only in the bathroom, can't open a window (felt a bit stifling and unhealthy), desk too narrow to fit even a laptop, in the end I had to sit on the toilet and move some bathroom furniture in order to me able to work and have day light. According to the floorplan, probably half of the rooms don't have natural light in the room. The safe was broken, the curtains were torn from the rail, both things I flagged to reception and they didn't do anything about it. No mirror close enough to a plug to be drying your hair seeing what you're doing. Not wardrobe to unpack into (just 4 hangers next to the bed) . Overall I expect a 4 star hotel pays attention to these kinds of comforts.

This is such a charming boutique hotel with a delicious breakfast spread and well-appointed rooms. Fun decor for a bohemian feel. The staff could not have been more helpful.

Stayed for a few days. Staff were welcoming, room was clean and the perfect size. Everything was in walking distance and the breakfast had a wide choice of options, if I’m staying in Bergen again I’m staying at hotel no 13

A very comfortable and unique boutique hotel right in the center of Bergen. Very convenient to the light rail station. The only issue was the fragrance used in the elevator was a bit overpowering and caused some irritation.

Love the Hotell, the staff and the location. The only minus is that we had to change the room because of the bathrooms. The first one we had was designed such that we had NO privacy in the bathroom and that’s not nice when you are on a romantic trip. Then the second room we had faced the Main Street, it was badly noisy at night because of Mac Donald’s right the corner. We closed the window but then the room got badly hot, despite turning the temperature down. Other than that it was a good stay, very nice, friendly and helpful staff.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. It was easy to walk to all of the sights in Bergen. Staff were very friendly and able to provide valuable information. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel

Loved this hotel so much. The staff were amazing. The room was spacious and warm. The beds comfortable. The breakfast worth the visit. And the location was excellent. I will be telling all my friends to stay here❤️❤️❤️

Excellent location, just 2 blocks away from the waterfront and fairly central to everything. The hotel is on a traffic free road so was very quiet The room and particularly the shower were lovely. The breakfast buffet was impressive and had a wide range of foods and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel was in fantastic location. Breakfast was fantastic. Friendly and informative. Made our anniversary special.

The location of Hotel No13 is perfect, short walk to all attractions in Bergen, and just 5 minutes walk to Tram station from airport. I had a standard queen room which was a decent size with a large bathroom even bigger than many 4/5 star hotels in US. Very clean and very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and much better than many other hotels in Europe. Before my stay, I was concerned about some of the comments about lack of window in the room. Those comments were misleading. Actually, bathroom has floor to ceiling windows which are frosted for privacy. But, provides natural light for the room. Although my room was next to elevator, there was no noise at all which surprised me. I have stayed in many top hotels which have terrible noise from their elevators. I'm so glad that I picked Hotel No 13 for my stay in Bergen and will definitely stay here again if I come back to Bergen.

This hotel is excellent. It's located very close to the harbour, the fish market and the tourist area of Bryydden. Breakfast was great with a large selectioof both hot and cold items.The shower is very contemporary with beautiful glass walls and the staff are very helpful with some good suggestions.

Great hotel overall. The location is very central in the city, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast had a nice selection, and in general the room was quite nice (though a slightly unconventional layout). I really only had one issue with the stay and that was the frosted windows. The windows are completely frosted so it's impossible to see anything through them, and there is no way to open them so you effectively feel completely trapped in the room. One of the more bizarre choices I've ever seen at a hotel. I saw the hotel's response that it's for guest privacy, but isn't that what curtains are for? I wish this one choice didn't detract so much from an otherwise great hotel, but I recommend asking about your specific room on check-in.
