I had a pleasant stay and would use again, be mondful though that the hotel bar closes around 2200hrs, public transport is excellent into the town centre and is free of charge

This hotel is a scam for the summer months. They say they have air conditioning but they absolutely do not. We visited in May when outside temperatures were around 30 C and then inside temperature was 28 C (!). It was unbearable, but, having read the reviews, apparently, the hotel is just pretending to have A/C and actually hasn't for years. They moved us to another hotel free of charge, which I appreciate, but the lie itself is just too much. We got to our room around 9pm, were exhausted, and just wanted to sleep, but we still had to walk the 30 minutes, with all of our bags, to the other hotel they were moving us to. To make everything worse though, Hotels.com, of which I've been a member for almost 12 years, did absolutely nothing to resolve this. Not a thing. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes and speaking with two separate people, I was just told over and over how this wasn't Hotels.com's "responsibility". But, the fact of the matter is Hotels.com is clearly not vetting their hotels whatsoever, becaus we specifically filtered for hotels with A/C, which caused this one to come up - but, if Hotels.com bothered to listen to their own members, they would have realized years ago that this hotel has no right to list A/C as an ameninty. The only saving grace of this situation was the kind young man at the front desk, whom I do not fault for the failings of the hotel at which he works. The hotel itself and Hotels.com however, behaved atrociously and absolutely let me down.

We stayed only one day. The check-in was easy and the receptionist very helpful. The room clean and nice. However when we got back to sleep we realized that the air-condition was not working. We tried multiple times and different combinations but there was no cold air. This made our night pretty miserable

Nice hotel. A bit uncomfortable without lift to our room but it was ok. Lake is just 15 min walking. Parking available for free.

Great spot and convenient location for exploring Friedrichshafen by foot, bike or public transit! Also convenient base for traveling to Lindau and other towns near the Bodensee. The hotel room was the perfect size and appeared to be well-maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Overall the stay was pleasant, but there were a few disappointments. When the neighbours would flush the toilet the water would come up in our shower. There was no breakfast, which may have been due to Covid-19, but was still a shame.

Your web site should be clearer as to whether parking is included or not. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. This hotel was a good value.

Check-in was a nightmare. First night for the girl at reception. She gave us a room where there was already a guest. Not her fault as the computer showed it empty. Spent 30 minutes trying to find another room

Specifically booked this hotel as it has 24 hour reception. Got to hotel at 01.00 and couldn't get in. Had to ring a number and then wait for a night porter to drive from another hotel to let us in. It is not 24hr reception.

Room too small and did not find a parking place. Price too expenisw for the facility and it is definitely not a 4 star hotel

Bad smell in a basement room. This category of hotel should not be in Expedia. The pictures posted are misrepresenting the actual hotel rooms.

Hotel is clean and well maintained. Internet speed not great and some rooms quite small. Good air con. A long walk into town (20 minutes or so ) but there is a small station nearby as long as you time it right for the trains that only run hourly. Reception staff were great helping us to organise late night transport at short notice.

We couldn't use the parking since it was fully booked and the aircondition in our room didn't work. The room was incredibly hot when we came and stayed that way. The reception wasn't much help at all

My husband and I were on a motorbike tour and, as we spent most of every day in full motorbike clothing, it was essential to us to have a hotel which offered air condition throughout the hotel. Also, as we run our own business, we needed access to wifi to keep in touch with our employees. Sadly this hotel fell down on both counts. We realised this as soon as we walked in to the reception area on arrival. You could have fried an egg on the reception desk. Our room was no better. As my husband is a 40 year time served HVAC Engineer, he quickly realised that the AC was of insufficient size for the room. While it blew out a little cold air, it was so inefficient that it was like being in a sauna. In order to get to sleep at night, we had to wipe ourselves down with a wet towel and let the water evaporate. I opened the window - BIG mistake ! A swam or gnats flew in and as I am very susceptible to gnat bites, my husband spend 10 minutes flailing a towel around the room to kill them all. The shower, while good pressure, had a wrap around shower curtain which attached itself to you like a magnet as soon as you started showering. Not great at all. The complimentary wifi ? Non existent. I receive the wifi codes from reception but I could not get them to work on either my Ipad, my husbands Ipad, or either of our mobile phones. There appeared to be two wifis for the hotel, but one was extremely poor and, as I said, neither got you as far as the password so pretty useless
