Every business should be responsible of what they state on booking platform such as hotels.com (expedia). If you declare that the room has kitchen ware, cutlery, refrigeration then I'll have to find it and not been asked to pay $35 to upgrade to a room which has it.

This is a great place to stay in Osoyoos, all the rooms have been updated and the kitchen suites are particularly good. It's always clean and quiet, the beds are comfortable and the interior courtyard has a great pool, tables and chairs for eating outside and barbecues. The kitchen suites are fully equipped if you want to cook rather than go out to eat.

Check in was quick and pretty much painless. When booking a room with a pet online, take note that the pet fee is not included ($30). Didnt get to use the pool or courtyard as there was a very large group that had taken over the entire area for a pig roast. My shower head was terrible! Zero pressure dripped so bad it soaked the bathroom floor. In the morning when checking for all our possessions, I discovered the smoke detector inside the desk! Over all, Sahara Courtyard could be a great stay, I just caught the wrong day to check in(large group pig roast). Fix the couple of issues with room 128 and it would have been 5 stars.

We LOVED staying at the Sahara Courtyard. The tables and seating area was so convenient when it rained for half of our trip, the pool was a good size and nice and central. The walkability to the local restaurants, pubs and activities can't be beat!! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless.

Check in was sub-par. The young lady was indifferent. I booking via an online booking site, although she did not ask me for my Drivers' License/Credit card. She was not welcoming or attentive to informing me about where to park, details about the pool, or what time the desk hours are. The usual when one checks in to lodging.
The room was clean, but the walls, doors, and window rails need attention to cleanliness. The bathroom was NOT clean. Build up of gunk behind the toilet, toilet seat hinges (where gunk lives) was not clean. Walls need a solid wash top to bottom as well as the dirty overhead vent, the shower curtain was ripped and a few stains. It was NOT clean. As well, all the towels and the extra toilet paper was IN the room on top of the microwave - odd.

The beds were comfortable, linens clean, and the location was good. The room, while usable, was in serious need of repair and updating. Three broken doors, air conditioners and a fan that were very noisy, insufficient utensils and dishes for the number of guests booked. Given that the staff were very nice this property has potential.

Our bedsheets were dirty, floor was filthy(had to keep shoes on) baseboards and walls were dirty, doors were filthy, turned the ceiling fan on and dust came flying off in chunks, one light bulb burnt out in bathroom, shower head fell off when we turned it on, toilet was wiggly, tub was dirty, dishes were dirty, every lamp shade was stained and had mould, beds were hard. All furniture was OLD.
Only plus side was location is by the beach and our own balcony.
Sadly we will not stay here again. This place needs major Reno’s and improvements.

Very dirty. Smoke detector not attached or functional, drawers in kitchen didn’t close properly. Fridge didn’t work, window didn’t close properly, towels were stained. Hot water would work some times and only warm others. Beds were comfy and ac worked great.

They don’t do early check in and or late check out with out an extra charge. And if you purchase protection they will not honor it. 0 out of 10 will not recommend to stay here. I suggest holiday inn

I was pleasantly surprised!!! Nice tenis much nicer than I anticipated!!! The AC worked well but it was a little noisy all night.. oh well… I would suggest they update there Sahara sign as it us out dated, ugly and u was sure I was entering a dog friendly dissapointment…. I was happy and will return!!! Good job Sahara

This is the perfect property for a young family. Lots of kids running around a little pool for them. A big pool for the big kids. It’s very communal. The owners are very accommodating and keep the place very well. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price being relatively low I was prepared for a lot less. Room could have been cleaner (& the fact I noticed means something) however I have seen a lot worse. Looks like the room was renovated and it was just the right size for a solo traveller. Happy to have a fridge and microwave. The location is really good too, like perfect for a chill vacation. Liquor store and pub and quiet beach with swimming area are right nextdoor. Tho they have a kid's pool and adult pool (with an actual deep end which I love), I suggest the beach. You can even take a longer walk to the main strip with local stores, cafe's and another public beach. Check out the hardware store. It is actually hilarious how much of everything they have in stock. Could make a game of it. Overall I would recommend this place and even thought it would be fantastic for small family reunions or extended family trips.

What a great place to stay in!! Walking distance from the lake. Great pool and courtyard. We had the 2 bedroom suite that provided us with all the basic needs. It is not fancy and very basic but has family feel to it. This hotel is family owned and you can feel it. It is also dog friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Been going here for years. On the last stay I informed the front desk we would be leaving a day early from our booked stay. The son rudely refused to give any compensation for the night we would not be able to stay. Won’t be going back and neither will the couple we go with.

The courtyard was beautiful, well manicured, flowers, trees, pool! All kinds of outdoor seating. The room was clean, updated and quiet. Would stay again.
