The concept of the hotel is great. The room was small-ish, but clean with a balcony with a tub. We arrived in the night and were awaken by drilling and banging. They were doing construction in the room directly across from our room and on the balcony of that room as well. The noise was so loud and disruptive from a little before 8 AM to after 6 PM. It’s really unfortunate that the hotel knew they were going to be doing construction and decided to put guests directly across from where they were doing the construction. This ruined our stay. The power went out but they had a backup generator. As guests situated directly across from the room in which they were doing construction, we were not notified of any construction, we weren’t offered a different room. I had to complain several times before we were offered. They then offered to put us in a smaller room that was directly at the front of the establishment. We had plans and were in a time crunch and had to leave, our transportation outside, and were unable to see a room when offered. We ended up staying in the same room until the end of our stay. The last full day the chef, who made brunch from 8 to 1 PM, was not there. We received an email notification about this a few minutes before the brunch was supposed to start. The staff was friendly, not the owner so much. It would have been a lovely stay w/o these issues.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Puerto Rico. Room 22 was a bit dark and cavelike, but we loved the “outdoor” shower! Room 5 was bigger and brighter, but the “shower” was in a claw foot tub that was scary to enter and exit. A grab bar is needed. We enjoyed the neighborhood, but the property is a challenge to find, since gps directs you to locked up gates. The grounds are lovely and the vibe is cool.

Advertises much more luxury than is. Small pool was out of order, ice was out of order, toilet failed to flush, advertised services not available

The people (and the cats) are so nice and accommodating. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. The Coqui can get a little loud at night, but the place itself is very quiet and calming.

Miguel was a wonderful host, would go back there for the experience again. Miguel deserves a raise!!!!

This is a great place to stay! They thought of everything down to little details. A little origami note on the bed upon arrival, great food and staff on site to help you with anything you need. I had a super awesome omelette and tried a cornmeal dish similar to oatmeal That I’ve never had before. Everything was perfect. The biggest plus was the amazing aesthetic. Everything was well put together and beautiful!!! Thank you so much for a great stay!
