Very warm welcome, very hospitable hosts, lovely breakfasts and comfy bed.

My week here was great, I would recommend it to anyone. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast tasty and well presented, location near Fitz Park, and an easy walk to the centre and the lake. Free parking. On my first day I tripped on a walk and broke a bone near my wrist. The hosts, Mark and Mandy couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. Full marks.

The accommodation is 2 min from Keswick high street where you can find numerous restaurants pubs and shops. Lots of activities within walking distance .

Lovely 4nights stay at The Silverdale. Great location within walking distance of all Keswick's amenities. Free parking either off-street or on-street. Nice comfortable room with views of Skiddaw. Lovely breakfast and fabulous hosts. Will definitely be returning here in the future

Easy check-in/Check-out. Best breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tea/Coffee/Biscuits in room, perfect after a day of hiking and very conveniently located for the town/lake. I would highly recommend and gladly stay here again if ever I am back in the area.

Great room in a great location, we even had a view of the mountains. Easy to get around the town centre and reach the buses too. Mark was super friendly and helpful.

Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The cooked breakfast was very good (well done Mandy). The decor is very seaside B&B but the room was warm, clean and fine for our 4 days trip. We'd be happy to return and happy to recommend this place.

Lovely stay of 4 nights over New Year. The Silverdale is very convenient for Keswick town centre and has its own small car park. The host was very friendly and amiable, the breakfast excellent in all respects. My room on the top floor was comfortable, with a good sized TV and an easy chair. The electric shower didn't need any fiddling with - just the right temperature straight away, though the shower cubicle was a little tight. Unusually for this type of guest house, there is a common lounge area with TV adjacent to the conservatory which serves as the breakfast room. Very much recommended..

Friendly welcome on arrival. Room warm and comfortable. Everything that I needed was there. Plenty of hot water. Shower good. Breakfast well prepared and presented. Nice light breakfast room.

We stayed at The Silverdale Monday - Friday the second week in October 2023. Very nice room en-suite, including parking off-street, and full breakfast. Mark and Mandy are very accommodating and personable. The location is residential (quiet) with a short pleasant walk to the market area or park. Consistent shower water pressure and temperature (our stays at other places were not). Highly recommend The Silverdale, Keswick.

Great friendly and jovial host who communicated with all guests. Our room was spacious and very clean. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. On-site car parking or street. Would stay here again.

I had a great stay at The Silverdale! Mark was very friendly, and really the perfect host. The breakfast was lovely, and the room very enjoyable. The location is also good, with only a few minutes walk to the town centre. If I come back to Keswick, I definitely want to stay here again!
