Nice location, though be aware, certain hours during the weekend the streets around the hotel are closed for traffic, and becoming a pedestrian mall..,making it a bit of a hustle to reach the hotel especially if you have suitcases…

Accommodations and staff are excellent

Best part of the hotel is the staff. They were very helpful, friendly, and were great to our daughter. Even gave her a Nazar as a gift when we checked out. Breakfast selection was great. Hotel is close walking distance from historic sites. Also, the bar tender was very friendly and fun to talk while having some drinks after a long day.

Excellent position and service.

Nice hotel downtown, nice breakfast and the inside is charming. A bad point : The hotel offers 60euros shuttle to come from the airport. Avoid it. normal price for a taxi is around 15 to 20 euros and we had to wait 30 minutes for other passenger even if they were not going to the same hotel. Even with that they wanted to charge 10% extra because we wanted to pay by card as we mentioned in the reservation. Deceiving way to treat a customer.

Ideally located in the heart of the old town it's a dream of a small luxury botique hotel and ideal for any first time visitor to Istanbul. Our room no.209 looked out to the front of the hotel and had everything we needed. If staying for 4 or 5 days I would efinitely recommend booking a larger room as the standard rooms looked compact. We would definitely return. Lovely staff and quality hotel in an ideal location for all the sights.

Having looked on web site, I liked the way rooms looked and what seemed to be the views from them. In reality, rooms are fine but the views from “premium” rooms (we tried a couple) are onto the close-up roofs and pipes. The staff is friendly. The biggest disappointment was breakfast, both from quality/selection point of view and the fact that espresso/capucino are charged additionally, which is strange at the price you pay for the room.

We had a decent stay at the Regien Ottoman Hotel. The hotel is walking distance to many main attractions, like Hagia Sofia, Topkapi-palace and the Galata tower. The hotel is clean, the room was spacious (deluxe) and the standard of the room was great. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, and our designated housekeeper Mustafa, was so sweet, helpful and professional and always left our room in a pristine condition! Getting airport transport was also easy and the receptionists were polite and helpful. The service at the restaurant was also very good. However, we had a few setbacks at the hotel which is the reason why we are not giving an excellent rating. We both struggled falling asleep if we went early to bed, and struggled to sleep in if we fell asleep late because we could hear absolutely everything from the hallway. Furthermore, we paid extra for breakfast which I would discourage other visitors from doing. Buying breakfast outside is both cheaper and much better than the hotel breakfast, which was very simple. It was decent but nothing remarkable. And they played the same playlist every single day, quite loud, so once we sat down to eat we just wanted to hurry up and leave. Since we were here on our only holiday week during 2022, we expected the ability to sleep whenever we wanted and a good hotel breakfast (especially when we paid extra).

My children and I stayed at this property for four nights. We had an excellent stay, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. It made our experience in Istanbul even more special. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Istanbul. The rooms are new, modern and cleaned daily. We will definitely be looking at staying here again if we return to Istanbul.

We had a lovely time in this hotel. We stayed in the attic room which can get hot in summer but is fully air conditioned. The breakfast was delicious. We used the gym and that was good too. Very friendly service and would recommend.

Nice, quiet hotel and very centrally located.

Location is brilliant. Hotel looks great as in design and decor but this is not sustainable..skirting boards coming off, thick mould all through silicone, curtains don’t pull across etc. for the concept and price this hotel does not deliver. Staff quite disinterested, and inconsistent, some guests offered tea on arrival and others not. Chose property as stated has parking or valet parking - no parking and no valet parking..we had to drive car to otopark for day then park on street at night then next day take to otopark and then back on street at night.. Breakfast really mediocre, was offered something cooked as we about to leave, not sure why this wasn’t offered as we sat down. Empty tables left dirty and floors quite dirty as well, they need to be doing continual tidy up especially in food areas. This hotel sets up for great expectation but fail to deliver the standards and service..nice 3 star hotel at best.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Regie Ottoman. The hotel staff was amazing, Everyone right down to the cleaning crew was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful & generous. The location was in walking distance to the the ferry, the train, the grand bazar, the blue mosque. If you are going to Istanbul, there is no better hotel to stay in -- The Kimble Family

The stay was beyond amazing. The location is the best with everything around. The staff were so friendly and welcoming which is not very common in Istanbul. And the room is spacious only missing some light.

Staff was over the top helpful. Nice is an understatement. Quiet and perfect to sleep in Pillows perfect. Chef Omar on site is a treat u just don’t know how lucky till ur there and taste his food !Location is exactly where u want to be. Quick walk to the bazar , Egyptian spice 20 minutes across bridge to Galata Tower. Don’t stay in that zone. It’s packed. Room was dope. Seen reviews of people speaking of electric out... AC spotty ect... suck it up as the hotel and all that it offers is mental. I have stayed all around the world in the nicest hotels that are out there from the Airbnb room in the garage rented by Uncle Bob. If u read this, book it. Pura vida Familia Ricante
