A fabulous breakfast delivered to the door. Enjoyed the rainforest walk out the back and the well designed privacy with each room. Great hosts and decor. The internet gets a bit dodgy in the area watching Netflix but that'[s not what we came here for.

Outstanding location for the weekend to celebrate life & birthdays of loved ones & friends. Service was above & beyond & rooms were as perfect as their usual standard. This place is full of comfort & heart.

Beautiful private, well fitted cottage. Lovely setting, yet so close to everywhere. Breakfast was outstanding. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Good safe, COVID practices in place.

The grounds/gardens were splendid and blended well with the dwelling. Breakfast that was included in our stay was outstanding in quality and quantity.

10 years ago my wife and I were married at the Spotted Chook. I think at the time we were one of their earliest weddings. We've been back a number of times since then, most recently for our 10th anniversary. The place is just as wonderful and relaxing as it was back then. Leeroy and Jane are the perfect hosts and take care of their guests as if they were family. The rooms are beautifully maintained with milk and coffee making facilities provided. The included breakfast is fantastic and includes a range of freshly baked muffins and egg dishes all prepared on site. The Spotted Chook is located close to the heart of Montville and only a short drive to Maleny and Mooloolaba. We will be back again next year and can't wait. We can't recommend the place highly enough!

A very enjoyable 2 days with expanded continental breakfast included. And the hosts were a rich source of information. A nice quiet place on 5 min.drive away from a bustling Montville. We stayed in a room called snowpea The interior of the room design is refreshingly diffrent. Top marks to the place.
