Hidden gem in Kittery

Very nice and quaint property, good location for our stay. Our room being older was a bit small and thus felt crowded but great people, excellent room service without having to be requested and a very nice breakfast though the breakfast room itself was also a little small with not much seating. Overall,we enjoyed our stay there!

Great place, would stay again!! Independently ran with care. Great bathroom, fridge and freezer with window AC as ours was a single cottage like cabin w/o kitchen. Nice breakfast choices and outdoor amenities. Wasn’t warm enough to swim but pool was open first weekend in September, appreciated the option.

We stayed in #7 an efficiency. Really nice, firm bed, sofa, kitchen table and chairs. Parking right outside the door. Would def stay again.

I liked the homey setting of the place and the lovely breakfast.

The quiet location of inn and the quality of the breakfast

The gardens and curvy drives/paths are picturesque but not well kept up. Very nice breakfast menu and dining although tiny and in same room as check in/out so noisy and lacked privacy.

Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Staff and service exceptional.

Cute little place. Bed was fairly uncomfortable.

Parking was close to our room. Breakfast was good. Area felt very safe. Bed was too close to the wall on one side but room was fairly large. Would have been nice to have a lamp for reading on both sides of the bed also. Had a table and chairs to eat our meal at which was nice. Would stay here again.

Clean nice old motel but it’s not near the town and between a junkyard and truck repair shop

We love the individuality of the inn. Its not a chain. The staff was ver knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Perfect 1 night stay on our way to Logan Airport. Room was clean and quiet and the staff was very welcoming. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Place is “over the hill” but OK for one night.

Very clean and welcoming....breakfast had a very large self serve variety....cereal, eggs, premade omlets, waffles, toast, yogurt etc...comfortable beds. Only complaint is lack of counter space in bathroom. Fabulous spot,

We we very disappointed in our stay in August and reached out the hotel for resolution but were ignored. The room had dirty, worn carpet and the balcony was so covered in dust/dirt/pollen on every surface that it was not usable. We found a roach crawling on our bags and the pool area looked like it had not been maintained in a long time. It was full of pine needles and trash and there was bird poop or tree sap covering all of the chairs. The air conditioning seemed to have a temperature limiter on it such that it cycled on and off all night and never actually cooled the room. One of our family members woke up with severe bug bites one morning that ultimately needed medical attention. The breakfast was good, but with the exception of the coffee cake it was the exact same items that we got at a motel in Bar Harbor the week before - nothing special.

The bed was so very uncomfortable, got very little sleep. The AC was right above the bed and very noisy, we turned off and just had the fan at night. The ice cube maker was down a flight stairs, it was handicap accessible at all! We will never stay there again!

The room was very dated. Towels in the bathroom needed to be thrown out and replaced. Location was good and breakfast good.

We were only staying for one night, but liked this place. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the 95 highway, but very tranquil. The breakfast was very good for a small hotel, with items replenished regularly. We particularly liked the omelette (although my veggie wife was surprised by hidden morsels of bacon in it). We went to Portsmouth in the evening and got there in less than ten minutes. This was the only hotel where we didn't try the pool, but it is nice to have one.

It is a motel. Not really an Inn as I expected. Pictures are not the same as what it is Room was clean but very old. Nice breakfast.

The property, although some things were updated the rest was dated. The room was relatively clean. The pool was clean but the area and chairs around the pool were covered with bird poop. It could have used some attention.

Quaint and quiet, but easily accessible from both Portsmouth and Kittery, less than a mile from Kittery's charming town center. Friendly staff and a wonderful stay!

Perfect location for restful, peaceful vacation. Close to everything. Office and cleaning staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Our experience did not match our expectations based on reviews and high ratings. It is possible that rooms range in quality/cleanliness but ours was close to the busy road, had a very noisy air conditioner that ran non-stop, and there was a very musty smell to the room. It may have been a smoking room, but I didn't know this was still allowed. The queen suite was very small and just barely enough space for 2 adults and a portable crib. The room descriptions were not as clear on Hotels.com as they were at the Inn's website so definitely check there before booking. Although the pictures make the space look much more updated than our room felt. The breakfast was fine but nothing special. It was very DIY with a variety of breads for the toaster and premade omelets you could microwave to eat. The pool was nice but surprisingly close to the road so not as relaxing as we had hoped. The staff was accommodating and friendly enough. However, I don't think we would stay here again since our family needs a bit more space and prefers a more updated/clean feel.

It was quaint and the breakfast was superb. The room was quite basic, and we were expecting a little more, but it really had all we needed so we can't complain. We loved the setting and the outdoor ambience. Very friendly staff and the place was quite clean and nice. Quiet, even though close to the highway. We liked it and will likely stay there again.

Loved this property! It is so cute and charming. The breakfast was delicious and all of the staff was so friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

The attendant at the desk was super helpful and friendly. The pool was wonderful, clean and great for us. The landscaping with the benches and flowers—beautiful. All the guests were even friendly. Our room was clean and inviting. We were able to enjoy our yummy breakfast out on the deck. The location was close to everything, wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Nice motel

I loved the little patio on the room where we watched a thunderstorm.

Friendly staff and cozy accomodations. Very nice a colorful grounds. The pool was very relaxing and refreshing. The bed was the only issue. It was noisy and maybe had some broken springs. Other than that, we really liked our visit!
