Amazing property with great views! This resort has thought of everything. Comfortable beds and pillows, great views, very clean, excellent amenities including indoor and outdoor pool, movie theatre and more. Walk to Summerville Beach ranked number 2 in Nova Scotia. The Grill was fabulous 5 out of 5. We had 4 meals there all were exceptional and couldn’t have been better. Also with amazing views as it overhangs the beach. Will definitely be back to this lovely property.

The staff was friendly and cookie service was lovely.

I cannot in good faith give less than 5 stars because even small issues such as our door lock not latching were addressed immediately by the most kind and attentive staff. We had an excellent stay, the rooms were great, the beds were comfy, the sound of the ocean was perfect. There is constructing happening to expand the resort, but other than an occasional backup beeping, it didn’t impede our stay and we barely noticed. The club house is a great space for rainy days, the outdoor pool was clean and temperature was warm.

Beautiful location

It was OK. Our fridge kept us up all night last night because it kept beeping. When we checked in, they told us that it kept beeping. Just throw it out the door, but I thought they were kidding. The room had a good vibe, but the walls are thin.

Beautiful spacious clean room and food at the grill was amazing. Shoutout to Heidi at the grill for great service. Only thing is the front desk never answers, but does call back when you leave a message.

We loved the Grille, staff and food. We loved our room. Very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Our only complaint, we were in the 3 story section facing the ocean on the 2nd floor. (219) and the person or persons occupying 319 were very heavy walkers. Stomping all day long. The rooms a small enough, I don't know where they were going, back and forth it seemed. It stopped before time for bed, but all day long. I did not complain to the front desk staff. It is very difficult to ask someone to change how they walk. We will definitely be back; but would be sure to ask for the lovely little rooms along the water with no one above. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

I would suggest that the over rated hype related to this place is directly related to its location on a beautiful beach. It includes a nice restaurant but is otherwise highly overrated for high priced accommodations and meals that are nothing extra. The room includes a well used love seat with dirty arms, an annoying gang of house flies and a leaky toilet. The power was out for several hours but we didn’t hear from anyone or see anyone other than a few unfriendly workers around the property upon departure. No housekeeping staff were visible. Our phone flashed red continuously but we were advised that it was malfunctioning and not messages. It is easy to be mislead by website room descriptions and locations and the restaurant appeared to be fully booked online so had to call several times. It wasn’t busy at all other than a booking of several people with reservations on the second floor who drew our waiter away. Disappointing.

Great location villas could use updating or at least recaulk the showers too bad they didnt have room service but great staff lots new stuff every year beach is awesome grill is good

It was amazing. Love the villa we stayed in it was wheelchair accessible. The beach was amazing & to be able to BBQ right near the beach was perfect! Definitely be back . We booked agin for July

Great new design

The Add said room was pet friendly when we arrived they informed us that it wasn’t.

The property was great! It is a new resort in Summerville Centre we originally booked a beach front unit however because we had a pet with us we had to change our unit to a Pet friendly unit. The unit was great but we will definitely be back to enjoy the beach front units during the summer without our furry friend lol.

Our favourite of 8 properties we’ve stayed at in the last 2 weeks. Despite having some apprehension about some recent reviews this place was amazing. Our room was right on the beach. Simple room but had fridge and microwave nice couch and super comfy bed/sheets. No elevator but worth the workout! Beautiful deck and chairs to listen to the waves crash! Staff were friendly and efficient. I had seen a few comments about the restaurant being expensive which it was a bit more expensive then what we’ve seen here in the East but food was great, stunning views, great ambiance- makes it worthwhile in my opinion - great service as well!

This property is near the Summerville beach and has beautiful views! The resort makes homemade cookies every day. Beds are comfy. There are very little amenities for the huge price you pay to stay here. No housekeeping, a VERY small pool that fits 4 people (more like the size of a hot tub). The resort doesn’t provide you beach towels or chairs to enjoy the beach. We stayed for 4 nights and ran out of everything with no housekeeping. A very very pricy hotel for not a lot of service or amenities unfortunately. Not worth the price. I tried to share feedback at checkout, with no resolve.

Summerville Beach is beautiful and we enjoyed being right on the beach. The restaurant on the property overlooks the ocean and serves delicious food!

The 3rd Floor loft room was on the beach with a spectacular view of the water. I would recommend a stay at the Quarterdeck to anyone looking for a piece of Nova Scotia paradise.

The view and the beach are amazing

We stayed at Quarterdeck Resort for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed for a week. Our accommodations (a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom oceanside villa) were excellent and worth every penny. The view from the villa and direct access to the waterfront was wonderful. We did 1 lunch and 2 dinners at the The Grill restaurant and enjoyed every meal. There was enough variety in the menu to please us all. My husband and daughter (11yrs) had great fun in the indoor pool as it was chilly outside during our stay and she wanted to swim in warm water. My 80yr old mother and I enjoyed long walks along the beach looking at shells and watching the surfers. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything, especially the stunning view!

One of the best beaches in NS. Loved the loft accommodations but we had a large group staying above us who partied until midnight and the noise easily carried through our section of the building. That was the only disappointment.

Repeat customer to the Quarterdeck, wife and I love it here, easy drive from Halifax, only 15 minutes into Liverpool, close proximity to multiple beaches with excellent dining attached, what’s not to love! We stayed in the lofts for the first time on this outing. Unit 201, Deluxe 1-bdrm Loft, to be exact. Layout was fantastic, modern/industrial feel, lots of space, could easily fit 4x adults if you don’t mind sharing 1 washroom and crashing on the pullout couch, loved the soaker tub with an ocean view. Some things we would note to be mindful of, no dishwasher and limited plates, bowls, etc, also no oven, just a stovetop, so if you plan on prepping your own meals frequently maybe haul a toaster oven and/or air fryer and some paper plates. Re: noise, our first two nights were very peaceful but then a family with young kids checked in above and all you could hear was them running and jumping around. It was Easter weekend, so we assumed they were hopped up on chocolate and left them alone, but if you’re easily annoyed by noise spring for the upper floors to be on the safe side, a better view too no doubt. Suggestions to management: 1) put some more hooks up on the walls, you can never have enough places to hang bags, towels, coats, etc. 2) maybe throw a cheap shoe rack in the main entry area, the way the layout is we were constantly kicking shoes out of the way to keep the path to the bedroom clear. We loved the villa. For the price you cant check in till 4 and have to be out next day at 11. Would be nice if check in was 3 and checkout at 12 to have more time there for what you pay. Was hard to enjoy the pool as kids birthday was happening and water everywhere in the rec center and noisy from 5 till 10 which was only time of our stay to enjoy it. Was told we coukd probably have check out at 12noon but when we confirmed in morning they said no so we had to hurry to leave. Whole time seemed rushed to enjoy the view, beach, pool, restaurant, villa before having to go. Need 2 or 3 nights to enjoy it all. Also we ended up parking out by the street as no space to park with villas.
