We stayed two nights as part of a fall color trip. As always the hotel was clean. Our stay was good. The location of this hotel is perfect, great jumping off point for all your UP day trips.
Not that this is a big deal, but the receptionist who checked us in was wearing sweatpants, a little unprofessional if you ask me. However that did not have any bearing on how good our stay was.

Just what i needed, a safe, clean, budget friendly place to spend a couple of vacation nights. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was very clean and I would come again.

Our room was right next to the ice machine, it sounded like it was inside the room, it dropped fresh ice continually.

If you want a low cost place to stay this is a good place. There’s no frills. There’s a bed, bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and a TV.
The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The building and location is dated and in need of a little TLC. I can't say it was clean, but I can't say that it wasn't clean. I can say..., there's room for improvement.

Room was clean, convenient. WIFI did not work the two days I stayed at AB. Also TV required two remotes—with no instructions. An in-room information card for how to use TV, WIFI, and local attractions would be a useful addition.

The room was clean and had the necessary basics for a night off the road while travelling. The room was very cramped, with no place to sit and relax, other than the bed. Pretty expensive for what was being offered. The air conditioner made some rather disturbing noises from time to time.

Room was clean but SMALL, too small for two people with luggage to comfortably navigate through. Room also was dated, could use a renovation. Staff was polite, but seemed unengaged with customers. Location was convenient. Overall, I'd recommend avoiding because it is overpriced for what you get and at least for us, was oh so small. This room was smaller than the foyer and bathroom combined of a place we stayed in a few days earlier. Won't stay there again...makes renting or buying an RV much more attractive.

The desk clerk was very helpful and kind. We liked the balcony with a view of the water. The Blueberry restaurant was yummy! The discount tickets for the ferry were appreciated. The shuttle to the ferry was fantastic! We were surprised that no one manned the front desk overnight. My only complaint is people smoking on the balcony when we were sitting out there. We would stay here again.
