A one night stay on business. Convenient location, friendly staff and somewhere to eat.

I booked this hotel due to the price and the good reviews (you dont often get both!) and I'm glad i did. I didnt expect plush, but we had a nice clean room, comfy beds, and a nice big tv. I couldnt ask for more for the price! Also the reception lady was very nice and friendly :-)

Brentwood hotels has maintained the property well. It was a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for budget friendly options near Rotherham Hospital.

Satnav wasn't dead on and the hotel entrance is a little difficult to see but we did arrive and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was guiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was equally good. It a good location for us.

It was ok, just that the hot water tap keeps dripping, needs replacing. Otherwise, very clean bathroom and room

Easy parking, the outside of the hotel looked very nice. The hotel room was just as good as premier inn Or Travelodge. You have a big bar/pub on the side of the hotel, with plenty of alcohol and food options. The guy in the colourful shirt who checked us in was also very friendly and polite

We stayed for an event at the Sheffield Arena that’s pretty close by. The hotel was much better value than the Sheffield City centre hotels. The bar area is busy and welcoming, the room is pretty basic but as to be expected for the price the range. The bathroom was basic but the shower unit was good.

The Hotel is a little tired and dated. However it was good value for money. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent value for money! Would I stay here again? I absolutely would!

For the price it was excellent, breakfast included also, had a good enough selection. It's quite tatty and needed updating, especially the bathroom but the shower worked and was very powerful. Enough plug sockets, mirrors and wardrobe space. We had an iron and ironing board in our room. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable and the room didn't get too hot and stuffy like some hotels do so slept really well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Last but not least, could not fault the cleanliness, the room was spotless!

Standard pub grub in the bar which was nice enough. Our chips were cold but we were given more immediately so no issues there. Room was basic but comfortable but the main issue was breakfast. There were only 5 or 6 tables in room so when a table became free had to grab it quickly. The lady on duty was on her own which meant tables took a while to be cleared, had to ask for clean cutlery and for coffee to be refilled. She was also covering reception and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was also cooking the food. It was tasty enough though. It wasn’t a terrible place to stay but it wasn’t the best. I’ve stayed at a few Greene King places and this was below average in my opinion.

Friendly staff, able to answer and questions we had. The room was quiet and the shower excellent

Jo, the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was big with a nice en-suit bathroom. The room had decent curtains that were fairly good at blacking out the light. The cooked breakfasts were tasty, vegetarian was available and speedily served.

Our 2nd stay here. Just a nice cosy night out as a couple. Friendly staff. Good stay once again.

The staff at this hotel couldn’t have been more friendly, we stayed here for 2 nights having visiting for Michael McIntyre show, for the price I paid there was everything you could want tea, coffee, ect, towels, the bed was very comfy I slept really well the staff went above and beyond for us the next morning we didn’t prebook breakfast but decided we would have it on the Saturday, being on a specific diet the staff couldn’t have done more for us to make sure we ate what we could, we will definitely be returning at a later date! Thankyou for a great stay

Would highly recommend staying here. lady at reception was very welcoming and friendly and asked every time we saw here if we were ok. Comfy room very clean. Breakfast was lovely and also had food in the pub which was lovely. Definitely stay here again

Efficient and friendly welcome. A little old-fashioned in the feel of the place but very popular nonetheless. Well worth the cheaper option of staying outside the centre of Sheffield. Breakfast was really good - choice of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and cooked breakfast with a variety of toast and pastries on offer. Plenty to set you up for the day. Good value. We will return.

I have stay hear few time and I have it’s easy to walk to the hospital for work the staff are amazing make you very welcome to the moment you checking in to the bar staff house maid and the Chef you could not ask for more

I stayed in a large room in a separate annex to the pub. Really comfy and clean. Bar area was great and although i didnt try it, the food looked good, Will stay here again

A warm, informative welcome from reception. As I walked in my room I was hit by the heat. The bedroom radiator was on low and the bathroom towel rail was on. Windows in both rooms open so not so energy efficient. Due to heat from downstairs, radiators had to be kept turned off and bathroom window left open so I could sleep. With every single step the floor in both bedroom and bathroom creaked to the extent it made me feel uncomfortable thinking I was disturbing neighbouring rooms beside or below mine. Bed was really comfortable though and the room was kept clean during my stay. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent as was the service from housekeeping staff. The bar was ok. Staff weren’t as warm as in the hotel. Only ate there one night. The mash on my plate I was able to lift off in one piece and stand on its side. Didn’t eat there again. Noticed an outdoor heater by the door was on 24 hours a day and I mentioned it but it stayed on for another couple if days. I’d stay again but would book direct so I could ask to be in the new block. I’d drink in the bar but eat elsewhere.

We stay in the Brentwood every year, it is convenient & good value for money, it is jus t looking a bit tired & dated now needs a good overhaul.

It was only 15 minutes to the venue and shopping centre

Stayed for one night to attend an event at Magna, the room for was clean and warm, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was due to its location on a main road and had a brilliant night's sleep. Would definitely recommend.

Very good friendly staff good clean room

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Very cosy room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and really good value.

Good stopping off point. Easily found, good parking, nice staff. Rooms clean but need a little TLC. Quiet goodnight sleep.

Our stay at the Brentwood was excellent . The staff were all very helpful and very courteous . Rooms are basic but clean and have all the facilities that you would need . I would definitely stay at the hotel again .
