The bed and breakfast looks beautiful on the outside and we fell in love with the beautiful kitty Mable. Our room the Garden Room was just not what we were expecting.The first thing I noticed in the room was that the bathroom had used bottles of shampoo,conditioner etc to be used not what I was expecting. I went to take a shower and the water was not draining it was just staying at my feet the whole time and a piece of something black came up looked like an eyelash.. then we went to breakfast. For breakfast scrambled eggs with peppers and 1 piece of bacon and a breakfast bowl. And we all sat there eating with no napkins. We were so disappointed we cut our trip short because we were not sure of the cleanliness of the place.

Had a great stay for 1 night. Rob made a great breakfast in the morning. Very cozy, beautifully grounds, quiet and restful.

Beautiful grounds, historic home, close to Harrisonburg. Friendly hosts, great breakfast, and thoughtful amenities. Only suggestion is a bath mat or extra towel for the bathroom floor. We look forward to visiting again later in the year.

A beautiful property in a stunning location! Breakfast was great,and the proprietors were attentive and friendly, if i must find something negative the shower head was a little low and im only 5'10". 9.9/10!!

My son and I stayed for one night while visiting the area for a JMU Baseball camp. The accommodations were incredible and the hosts absolutely fabulous. This is a top-notch Bed and Breakfast, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Such a gorgeous property and the innkeepers are fantastic. Only 10 minutes drive from the JMU campus and Harrisonburg but you’ll feel like you are in the middle of farming country. Also didn’t jack up their rates over family weekend, unlike all the hotels in town - can’t recommend this highly enough!

Hosts Kayla and Rob were great hosts. Nice breakfast. Great quiet property nestled among cornfields and vineyards. Close to several wineries and close access to Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will definitely be back.

Amazing inn keepers, delicious breakfasts, and spacious rooms. I loved the mix of the historic building, but with modern touches in the bathrooms. It was also great to be able to sit out on the covered porch. If you are a light sleeper, I’d bring a fan or use some white noise on your phone while sleeping if other guests are still up and moving around.

Wonderful option for a getaway in a peaceful and cozy location. Hosts are very welcoming and gave us a delicious breakfast everyday.

What a gem! We were so lucky to discover such a cozy B&B on our move down south. The location was perfectly aligned with our long road trip and easy to locate. The service was absolutely exceptional and the rooms were meticulously cleaned. The breakfast was scrumptious, nutritious - plus plenty of options for tea & coffee lovers alike. Highly recommend!

The proprietors were so friendly and responsive. The place was so authentic and well done - charming and beautifully crafted with a rich history in a picturesque setting. So lovely - going back for sure!

The new hosts were just wonderful. The breakfast was delicious! Our room was delightful. The big wrap around porch was also very nice to sit on sipping wine and enjoying the quiet landscape as the fireflies danced around.

I am a history buff and I was very interested in the structure and that most of the logs were from the original 1750 house. I loved the period furniture, the wrap around porch, and the beautiful trees shading the porch. The bed was comfortable and we had our own room temperature control.

I love staying at this B&B. It is very nice and clean. Staff is so nice. Atmosphere is wonderful.I do wish it was a little cheaper to stay there. The base price is okay, but all the taxes and fees make it quite high.
