The staff was excellent from cleaning all the way to the front desk. Everyone was very informative and punctual. It’s affordable and in the hub of everything. Definitely will be staying again

Good service of the hotel staff and great habdycap access in the room/bathroom, but no parking for people with disabillity, no access for wheelchair to the jacuzzi (roof), the telephone is out of service.

I really liked that the property had 24 hour service. Not that I was up all night, lol. But it was very reassuring that if I was in need of something in the middle of the night, someone would be there to help. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. I arrived very early to check in (I needed to get out of the humidity for a bit) and although I did have to wait a little while, they let me check in at least an hour prior. They even let me leave my luggage at the desk so I didn’t have to lug it around if I did leave the property. They do give you a check in ticket. That way no one else can claim your belongings later. I was able to get my “VIP drink” and they also let you borrow beach towels upon request. Just be sure to return it the same day. My room was always very clean upon returning from site seeing and they have drinks and sandwiches available in the lobby incase one comes back hungry or thirsty from all the site seeing. I really enjoyed my stay and I believe others will as well :-) Thank you to everyone at The Wave!

Friendly staff and close to many restaurants for a decent price, but the rooms were small and not well cared for. Pillows were wildly uncomfortable. Hot tub was not working.

The roof does not function as advertised. The bar is closed & the jacuzzi does not work. Other than that this was a good place to stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

the ceiling fell on my friend while she was in the bathroom and ruined all her stuff. there was metal, nails and drywall everywhere near and on her. she has severe asthma and the room was covered in black mold. she was not refunded for her stay and asked to speak to the manager multiple times but was ignored. the walls are peeling due to improper ventilation from nonfunctioning air conditioners and there’s mold everywhere, even in the front lobby. the toilet in my bathroom didn’t work and they offered me a plunger, nobody came to look at or fix it. i would never recommend this hotel to anyone because it’s a health risk, management was unresponsive and inconsiderate and they did not clean my room for 4 days straight after claiming they did.

The rooms themselves were ok, the staff is friendly which is always a plus. The area where the hotel is located is not what was expected, but not the worst and location was close enough to Old San juan and beaches.
