Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Pools are near the beach. The beach is clean and swimable! You also have access to Riu Palace, definitely recommend the waterslide on that resort. Riu reggae was better IMO

The rooms are comfortable but need a retouching because: mirror are falling apart , big stain on the bathroom floor, toilet paper holder was falling and the safe was very rusted .
Riu should chose another company to represent them when it comes to transfers because our experience with destination services was awful. Tah-Jayd changed our 9:45 AM airport transfer to 10:45 AM the day before, but the driver never showed up. An hour before our flight, she told us we’d have to pay for a taxi ourselves or we will miss the flight. It was very stressful and unprofessional.

Food was okay but we had cleaning services done and nothing was restocked as originally stated. The room service cleaning lady took my key out and I panicked only to find out they returned it back to front desk for some odd reason, didn’t stock our room with water or sodas and didn’t replenish any of the towels or anything had to call front desk for replacement which came three hours after initial phone call was made. Room key gave me issues the entire time had to keep getting a new key. Food was ok, bartenders at pool were amazing.

Entertainment is like no other. Never a dull moment. The property is very clean, and all staff and services are outstanding.

Friendly staff, great service. Zahaire, Toni-Ann, and Janel were great at the buffet. Felisha made our trip extra special at the pool bar. Cleaning staff kept the rooms and common areas spotless. The beach party and the white party were amazing. Great work by the entire entertainment team. Bubbles is a star. We had a great experience. We will be back.

We had a problem when we arrived at our first room. The room was in the middle of being cleaned when we were given keys and told the room was ready. Front desk staff fixed the problem immediately and gave us an upgrade to a courtyard room. Loved being close to the airport for a quick transfer and to watch the planes taking off. Staff was amazing. Food at the buffet was excellent. 24 hour snack bar was pretty bad.

This property was very clean. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. You never got bored. There was always entertainment. You stay at one you play at three wonderful wonderful time. I will definitely be sharing my experience about the Rio hotel. I’ve stayed here many times before so my expectations Were sat

It was great vibes and had that authentic Jamaican feeling. Lots of good music was playd at the pool and the entertainmentcrew did a great job.

My 3rd visit to Jamaica (2 - Riu Ocho Rios, 1 - Riu Reggae). My first two stays were amazing, however my experience at this propperty was terrible. Poor customer service, limited dining and poor hours of operation at restaurants. Hotel is very dirty and food is covered with flies. I will not stay at this hotel again or with Riu.

Staff: most warm and hospitable like Ms Banton, Kadijah, Santino, Yanique and Zhaire, while a few need more training in customer service delivery. Entertainment: average - I came for R&R anyway. Food: good. Entrance driveway: leaves a lot to be desired - no landscaping - overgrown and strewn with trash. Beach & pool great!
