BAIT & SWITCH, DON’T BOOK THE AVENUE INN & SPA HERE! After carefully researching hotels we choose The Avenue Inn & Spa for its great ratings and many amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived we discovered we were staying at another location owned by the Inn. We were put up in a motel overlooking a blacktop parking lot immediately adjacent a night club that blasted music until 2am! We paid for the price of The Avenue Inn & Spa but were forced into a low quality motel. We’re beyond disappointed. Don’t make the same mistake we did. If you want to stay at The Avenue Inn & Spa contact the property directly. However, after this trickery I will never consider this property again.

Hotel was very pretty and convenient to beach and boardwalk. The hotel provided towels, chairs and a ride up to the beach in a golf cart. The hotel staff was able to provide the paint color of the sun room which I loved

over all an enjoyable stay. no recycling, room was clean ,could use more towel hooks or shelves in bath area. coffee was great, comp cookies as well. shuttle to beach and back was great. breakfast was good. staff very friendly

We liked the wine and cheese and the milk and cookies. Parking was not available several of the nights because of cars that were parking in there without a parking sticker!! That was one of the reasons we stayed at this hotel. The first step into the room we saw a Starbucks coffee cup on the sink counter with lip stick on it. Room appeared to be clean but it just made us wonder how focused the help is on cleaning. Overall it is a nice hotel but I think for the money spent and the issues we had its not worth the price!!!

Love this hotel and will continue to book in the future. The location is ideal and the facility is beautiful. This is a fun hotel with a lot of special touches (breakfast, cookies, wine & cheese hour, fire pit, shuttle, etc).

Beautiful property however the front desk wasn’t what I expected at a property of this caliber. Never informed us our room was ready until we repeatedly asked. Pool is nice but hot tub had no heating. Would stay there again because the room was beautiful but I wasn’t wowed by the overall experience.

It was close to the beach and was comfortable. The beach chairs and towel was a nice touch. The breakfast was significantly lacking compared to other hotels like the Bellmoor.

The Avenue Inn exceeding my expectations. The staff is very welcoming and made you feel comfortable. I work in Customer Service and really appreciated that aspect. Very convenient location. Amenities were great. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a great area.. only a few minutes to the beach and super close to restaurans. The staff is nice, but if you are not an American born be aware they won’t understand you. This place is NOT DC or NYC.. the only people who will understand foreigners are.. the other foreigners !

From location standpoint, it’s walkable to the beach and I liked it much. However, I was disappointed with the room since it did not have the balcony as originally booked. I was even more disappointed with the services at the dining station. Just to clarify- My family have had breakfast for the the couple of days but in our last day, we have been single out and asked by the Chef to show him the room key regardless of the the employee mentored to him that we staying at the hotel, I was very embarrassed and I had to stop and had to go back to my room to get the key. I understand that I see the post that says “room key is required”, and yet I have not seen anyone being asked while I was staying there. I normally travel for pleasure and this stay by far the worst experience I had…. VERY UNFORTUNATE !!!

Staff were super great. Great location. So close to the boardwalk. Great amenities. Hot tub is awesome. 10/10. If I could give more stars I would.

The Avenue Inn is the most amazing hotel in Rehoboth Beach. It definitely has a beach vibe and has an amazing staff. Just the smell alone when you walk in will keep you coming back . I felt like I was in a Spa..

The staff was awesome, kind and efficient. I never passed one of them without them smiling or asking how we were! The room was so big and spacious; we wished they had an add an extra day clause. My family's enjoyment was mostly built around the hotel stay and proximity to the ocean.

10/10 recommend! Staff was amazing. Great location within walking distance to the boardwalk and the beach! We will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is in a great location and is very clean. The staff is very helpful and the extras they provide to guests makes you feel special.

We chose the Avenue as a special treat for our trip. After confirming, I received an email stating we would be staying at the Avenue II, which is not the main hotel but down the street and next to a bar which may be noisy. When we checked in, the main hotel is beautiful and the staff perfectly pleasant. The Avenue II is a motel down the street. For the price we paid I was disappointed by the lack of amenities at the property itself. You had to walk to the main hotel for anything. The room was neat and clean, the bed was comfortable. We could not keep the room at a comfortable temperature despite the AC on full blast 24/7 and therefore did not sleep well. The bathroom was located at the back of the room and was not ventilated. It was excessively warm and carried an odor. The morning of check out I found what looked like a cockroach however when I showed the front desk I was told it was a “water bug”. We could hear a lot of street noise and some from the bar next door, but nothing that couldn’t be drowned out with a white noise machine. The location is ideal, can walk to anything. Overall it was a very mediocre, motel-8-feeling accommodation for which we paid four star hotel prices. We do not plan to return when I know there are superior accommodations in the area at the same, or cheaper, price point.

First time in Rehobeth and booked this hotel last minute. Great decision! Top notch amenities and hospitality upon check-in.

Very convenient location to all the wonderful things that Rehoboth Beach has to offer. The Avenue offers a quaint B&B feel even though it's a boardwalk beach hotel. We stayed in the Avenue II, which offered a large room, but did not feel as "plush" as the main hotel. For instance, the room was somewhat dark and the bedding could use an upgrade. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. They do make it a point to warn guests about the noise at night as it's located in the center of happening spots on Rehoboth Ave. We did not mind it, but if you have little ones who are trying to sleep at night, this may be an issue for you. The wine and cheese welcome reception was simply, but lovely. John was a wonderful staff member tending to guests. There are ample areas for cozy seating. I thought it was wonderful that you could use the amenities until 3pm even though check out was at 11. Private parking was also convenient and could be utilized early on check in day, and until 11:30 on the day of check-out. We enjoyed the Avenue, but I'm curious how the experience differs staying in the main building as opposed to Avenue II.

We would rater stay at the main building not at the Avenue II. But we did enjoyed all the main bldg amenities (happy hour, cookies/milk, and the nice breakfast).

This was a great place to stay in Rehoboth. The amenities and the staff were fantastic! We will definitely be back.

Great stay. Friendly and efficient staff, beach chairs and towels provided, plentiful breakfast included, complimentary transport to and from beach, and other niceties. Facility is very clean. If we return to Rehoboth, we've already decided we'll stay at The Avenue Hotel.
