This was complete false advertisement. The room was nothing like the picture. And the price was different at check in.

Good value for price. Room had kitchenette but no coffee maker. Had to walk down street to front office to get coffee. Bathroom small. Needs mirror outside bathroom and hooks for towels. Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed comfortable. Would stay again.

Most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Glad we weren't there too often. Only 3 watchable channels on the TV and the outlet situation was a mess. Shower was tiny and the water in the bathroom reeked of sulfur. Nice enough staff but a very disappointing little cottage.

The room we stayed was small, no closet, my suggestion add some hooks for people to hang some of their belongings, and should add a long table too, the one we had was broken no place for our toiletries. Other than that it was really quiet at night, had a good view and the A/C kicked Ass!! Would stay Again.

The shower was like a prison shower. It took about 10 mins of the hot water running to get some type of warm water. The water pressure was so soft barely spitting out. The room was so tiny. The beds were not comfortable. For almost $300 a night I would think it would have been better than that.

Upon reading the other reviews I believe it really depends what room you get! It wasn’t the best, but not the worst. You get what u pay for , but overall I loved this hotel due to it being so close to everything in the island! Our bathroom door was a hassle to close, and our sink we had to hold the plug up for the water to drain.The first night I showered with cold water due to the hot n cold being switched around! lol wish I knew sooner. Overall had a good time! Customer service was great though! Employees are super helpful and sweet!

This hotel was so small and uncomfortable to sleep in . The hotel didn’t have a elevator and that was really inconvenient when traveling with a stroller . Additionally , our room was never cleaned the entire time that we stayed . We had to remind staff to bring us fresh towels , plastic trash bags , and etc. I believe for the price I paid versus the room and service it is definitely overpriced . I would not stay there again .

The lobby and the common area was very dirty. The in the room the fan was disgusting it has built up dirt and grime. I would not use the ceiling fan in the room. also, there is no bar anything like that in that hotel, so that needs to be taken off of the advertising
Also, the description that was on the ads that you have of the rooms or false. And we had to lug our luggage for flights of stairs, no elevator

Was only worried about the bathroom door handle and closing the door fully. Look like the door handle is going to fall out. We couldn’t shut the door all the way closed. Other than that, our stay went well.

This place is very conveniently located and the ease of getting around is much better than a hotel that is up in the hills. The hotel is older though, and with that comes a lot of need for upkeep. The place needs to be renovated. There is a very musty odor from the rooms. Other than that, I can't complain, and it's the best deal for where it's located.

The room needs a significant upgrade. There was a dirty canned alcoholic beverage in the refrigerator when we came in. We had issues with billing that is different from Expedia's where I made the reservation. Room should be cleaned and towels should be replenished every day.

Just got back from staying at the Hermosa Hotel. The Hotel has regular rooms in the main building, and casitas that step-up the hill off Metropole Ave. I stayed in one of the casitas, and really enjoyed the vintage beach cottage feel. It looks like it was recently renovated, and included a kitchenette, which is an added bonus. The bed was comfortable. This Hotel is next door to the Avalon Museum, and steps away from the beach, cafes, and restaurants.
Highly recommended.

My husband and I were guest at your hotel from Friday, March 29 until Monday, April 1. We had a phenomenal time. Alex is wonderful thank you for all your customer service. He is an excellent employee my husband and I will definitely be back to your location.

My stay was great! I would definitely stay here again. It was in a great location and the staff was extremely friendly. They also allowed us to store our luggage in the morning before checking in which was also extremely helpful and convenient. The only downside was when my partner took a shower in the p.m. before dinner he did run out of hot water. However, when I showered in the morning everything was fine and I did not run out of hot water. Definitely recommend!

I love the old school Catalina vibe of Hermosa Hotel! The bungalows are so quaint. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect! I will be coming back and have recommended to friends.

Rooms are just ok and could use some TLC for sure, but for the price they worked for our quick trip.
Beds seemed older so not the greatest in comfort and made a lot of noise.
A/C unit had huge dent in it so don’t know if it worked or not.
Room had a fridge and microwave
Shower was just a small standup with an old shower head so it’s more just to jump in quick and jump out.
A little updating and add things like a lamp and maybe small chest with drawers and it could be great.
No closet, no drawer space, but again, hence the price.

It is one of the worst property that I ever stayed in United States, the size of the room and the rest room are very small, I would not recommend to stay, there are other hotels around it which are very good, I stayed here two days they did not even clean or change the towels and bed spreads
