Very welcoming hosts, large rooms, and good cleanliness. This is an old Victorian-era house, so heat is centralized and turned up high, and you open a window to cool it down. This introduces some road noise, but it's still a fairly quiet area for being so centrally located. Breakfast is good with several options of food and drink. I had a shared bathroom but it was only shared with one other room, so availability wasn't an issue. There was no TV in my room, but plenty of outlets were available to charge devices.
The location is great. Very walkable to many restaurants and attractions, with bike share and ride share also available.

Super quaint property on a quiet street south of Rittenhouse Square. The innkeeper and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. My room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. And the location is great base from which to explore Philly. Highly recommended.

Our second stay there. Very good again. It’s a really wonderful, old-time Philly home.
The weekend breakfast was wonderful. During the week it’s an expanded continental. Good and fit the bill, but nothing super exciting.
The staff are all really nice and helpful. Because we were there for an event with our bikes, they were extremely accommodating to find a safe place for them that also wasn’t too in the way.
No tv in our room - we knew that when booking - but the wifi is very good to watch something on your own device.
The next time we are in Philly we are highly likely to stay there again!!

Staff was very helpful in walking me through the process for late check in. Since I checked out at midnight and left at 7 am, I really can't say much more--it was a very comfy room but i can't remember a thing.

La Reserve was a pleasant surprise for us. We enjoyed our stay, including the great breakfast. The location can't be beat as it is walkable to the entire center city area. The staff are very friendly, responsive, and helpful.
We will certainly look to stay here again when we visit Philadelphia in the future.

Beautiful and Well-Done rooms in the property. Staff were very accommodating and kindly helped us, even when we needed to check out before leaving Philadelphia later that afternoon.
The breakfast was fresh and a great bonus to our stay. At the moment there's roadworks around the property, so one bus stop was out of action, but the SEPTA/transport website is up to date & there are other public transport options available, including a bit of a walk if you use the Phlash Tourist bus line, which stops not at, but a bit of a walkable trek from the Property. The important part is being able to look up the most up-to-date information:)

Only downside is no elevator. Great rooms. View of the street below. A/C keeps it perfect in summer. Lots of places to eat, shop & local museum makes it perfect for walking. Close to bus routes, one drops you at the corner at night. Buses & one subway line are close. Barber shops & nail salons to keep yourself fresh. Busy neighborhood at times when you are out walking. Good breakfast can last about a week before getting repetitive. Weekends are a bit more diverse. Kind, respectful & friendly staff.

A beautiful Historical setting that stands out as a nice small property worthy of visits again and again. Very Clean and filled with a welcoming staff. Parking is a bit tricky but Rittenhouse Square does have plenty of options.

Great check in and overall very friendly staff who made every effort to make my stay comfortable. Only reason for the 4 stars is a pretty basic continental breakfast and no coffee in my large suite with kitchen…somehow I expect that now at decent B&B. But a GREAT location and very nice rooms at decent prices so I would def recommend.

My stay at La Reserve was excellent. I was able to check in early, and was provided with some upgrade options if desired on my arrival. I stayed with what I booked, the Le Chateau room, and was not disappointed. The room was spacious and beautiful, with high ceilings and a comforting design. AC was easy to use. You share a bathroom with the other room on the floor, but there was never any issue. I had wonderful sleeps, and the breakfast provided, especially on Saturday, was delicious. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip.

The property and area is really nice. I only gave it a 4/5 stars due to it being rather loud outside the facility, sharing a bathroom with someone who treats it as their own personal bathroom is not fun, the internet is slow, no tv, and the breakfast options were underwhelming.

Very charming and well-kept building with the loveliest staff! I appreciated the easy walk to/from Suburban station (~15 mins) and the city's main attractions, including the Independence Historical and Parkway museum districts (~30 mins north and east respectively), as well as plenty of restaurant options. I was in a top floor room and while there is no elevator, the stair flights are short so I had no issues with moderate-sized luggage. The weekday continental breakfast was solid. I would definitely look to stay here again if I'm ever in Philly.

Fantastic stay. The staff was SO friendly it felt like staying at a friend's house. Located in the most walkable part of the city. Super safe area with every type of restaurant, shop, and activity within a short walk. I was in the Rittenhouse Suite which was basically the size of an entire apartment. I'll definitely be staying here when I visit Philly again.

Charming property near Rittenhouse Square. It may not be easily accessible for those with some impairment, but sure worked for us. Room was clean and comfortable. I was tall enough to get a couple of hooks rebooked for draperies, but blinds were good enough without it. Had some trouble with TV, but a minor inconvenience. We would definitely consider a repeat stay at Renaissance.
