On the outside it appears like a nice place, but the rooms are old and rickety, the shower is very cramped, the bathrooms are on odd half levels that you have to wander around to find. I happened to have very friendly roommates for the nights I was there, and the lockers for things were very small---too small to fit any carry-on luggage in. You just have to trust that no one will go through your things. The area is close to major shopping centers, which is great because there's a lot of food options. However, everything closes very early. Check-in took a very, very long time, but check-out was a breeze.

Clean, tastefully furnished common spaces establishment very conveniently located in central Brussels. Dormitory beds could do with more individual storage spaces, preferably lockable. Good value for short stay.

Interesting old building. Room was cozy but very warm. The window was chained which prevented it from being opened for fresh air. Person in upper bunk snored like crazy so I didn't sleep much.
Even so, I would recommend it.

Very comfortable and cool hostel. Rooms were mostly in great condition and the beds were soooooooo comfy. It’s really easy to get access to the rest of the city just by walking. The hostel itself was really cool and the receptionist was so patient when I had a few issues with payment. The bathrooms were enormous which was fab.

I am staying in this hostel on each occasion in a Brussels. Everything is good about this establish ment. Only bsd- if it doesn't have available spots. Location, cleanliness awesome.

Great location, only a 10 minute walk from Nord Station. Plenty of shops nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting me borrow a padlock as mine was too small. Dorms are comfortable, shower and toilet in room. Only issue was no bathmat provided - as a result the bathroom floor was constantly soaking wet. Easy check in/out system online. Thank you for the nice stay.

The lobby and the common areas look like a little museum. It Is very clean. The recepcionist Anna was very kind and very helpful 👍

The location of this place is amazing, if you can find the right place to check-in. We got confused by the two addresses and came to the other one, finding a locked door with a sign with a map on it telling us to check in at another address. It took us almost an hour to find the other one, but when we did it turned out we were staying there at least -- phew.
The location of that address is great, everything is in walking distance and there's a metro stop 2 blocks away, and the room is clean and good to use.

The theme is fantastic however, staff is rude, my room, 104 smelled bad. Some of the blankets smelled bad as well. I don't recommend it, unless they train the staff and make sure the rooms/blankets don't stink.

It was my first solo trip and stay in a hostel. I met some amazing people and i would recommend the place to others.

I liked the Belgium artefacts on display, It made for cozy warm environment reflecting the Belgium culture, historyI liked the kind, helpful staff!! Be sure to give them a raise!!I could bark happily as a Hungarian Visla dog to the German lady--she was that good asset to the hotel.The biggest drawback was the room 106 where I stayed for four days: there was NO A/C or air circulations--12 human bodies made the room too hot, stuffy and I got sleep-deprivation by the 4th day

I really liked this Hotel. Not any problem with anything. If you do not mind more people in one room you can go for this one. Free breakfast, Wi-fi.
You have to pay for towel 4euros and for padlock 5euros.
You have two options how to secure your staff during the sleep. Lock it in your room or ask on the reception to lock it in secure room.
Anyway THE PRICE and LOCATION is really amazing. People in the hotel were normal and kind. No trouble makers. Receptionist check the room habitants. Funiture is stylish.

Hostel had good location not far from Bruxelles North station and La Grade Place. Comfortable beds and beautiful room but missed hooks to hang up towel and jacket. A bit dusty under and behind the beds but otherwise decently clean. Showers don't alo you to regulate temperature. Very friend and helpful staff. Good value for money

Location is great. Short walk to Grand Place, very close to tram station, short walk to Brussels north train station. It’s on a Main Street so there’s usually people around, feels like a safe area. Hostel itself was ok. Not a very clean place. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was difficult to find plugs to charge phones. People kept using the plug in the bathroom. My main issue was the cleanliness otherwise it was ok
