One of the most spotless hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was quite small but comfortable enough. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was decent but expensive.

Amazing staff at the property! They were always so helpful in whatever we needed. Our whole stay became even more pleasant because of them.
The property itself is very well maintained and clean. All rooms, hallways, lobby, courtyard areas were kept clean always. The bar is open 24 hours which is a nice thing for a late night drink and relaxing.
Excellent location - just the right distance from all key attractions and in a quiet neighborhood overall so you can actually relax in your room.
We had a comfortable stay and I would recommend this to friends and family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Motel One. The reception was welcoming, the property was very clean, and the location was very convenient to walk to the old town or the station. Lastly, the most important thing, the AC was working. I would highly recommend this place.

No refrigerator or phone in room no coffee making facilities no supplied water. Poor customer service from front desk. Was told because we have now payed upfront we can just put the keys in the bowl on the desk when we leave. As if they just wanted the money and that was it.
Was not even shown where the lifts where.
Overall overpriced for what was supplied.

Clean and convenient location.
Safe box in the room was broken and it didn't get fixed during our two nights stay. The hair dryer didn't work either.

The hotel doesn't have parking. There is one parking place close by and is expensive €40 euros per 24 hrs. The room small. Good location.

This is a great modern upgraded hotel option in the heart of Zurich. It has a great bar area and excellent air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. However, the bathrooms were very small and we had a constant dripping noise under the sink that was annoying. The bar drinks are also overpriced and there was limited food options. Finally, there was no phone, mini fridge or coffee maker in the room, only basic necessities.

We loved motel one! We weren’t sure about the location before we went there. But it was perfect! Not too far from anything. We even walked most of the time. Everything looks new. And best of all, unlike most of the reviews of every other hotel in Switzerland, the air conditioning worked great! Not sure why it is called a motel, because it is definitely a hotel. I highly recommend it!

I had three rooms. None of the rooms’ air conditioners cooled down the rooms to a comfortable temperature.

Absolutely loved the hotel, room was a good size, nice walk in shower. Feel there could have been a set of drawers in the room and a bit annoying there was only Swiss plugs (all other hotels I stayed in had normal EU plugs also.) Would be nice if there was a ramp up to the hotel so you didn’t have to pull luggage up steps.

The rooms are tiny. There is no where to put suitcase or clothes. Temperature of shower is warm but not hot. In addition one room sprung a ceiling leak. Front desk offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience.
It was definitely comfortable to sleep in without street noise. We were on 4th floor.
Barristas at bar that sold coffee were friendly. Check in was easy. Staff responded to email questions and requests prior to checking in.

Great location in Stockerstrasse Area. Near food markets (Migros and Coop), coffee shops, and restaurants. Down street from Tram Stop. Hotel is very clean, elegant, and staff is very attentive and guest focused. Highly recommend for any stay in Zürich.
