It’s about all the surrounding, it’s unsafe for a family or kids, please avoid unless your desperate. Lots of drug dealers and dodgy people there asking me where to find drugs. I trusted hotels.com but now I’m very not sure about your ratings and I genuinely don’t understand how this place can have a 7/10.

No towels, one set of cutlery for four people, fighting and yelling on the street every night, no laundry powder/liquid. Expensive parking which wasn’t even secure. Three paper thin pillows provided, only one toilet roll for a week stay.

Good value city centre apartment. Check in was very easy and receptionist was friendly and helpful. Parking available, although costly. No wifi though.

Perfect location.2mins from centre. The woman receptionist was rude ignorrant and very abrupt. When the manage came in he couldnt have been more helpful

Very helpful staff and good accomodation.

The stay overall was fine for what we needed but the cleanliness wasn’t great. The halls smelt like smoke and weed to the extent it was almost intoxicating. Our apartment was okay, but we found brown splodges on the bath, bath Matt, one of the pillows and sheet. We did try to clean these purely for our own comfort in the cleanliness but still not great. Slightly noisy due to being on main road but wasn’t too bad. Good location for the town as well.

AWFUL. Checked out early because the room was so bad and the ‘management’ promise a refund then when you chase it up they tell you they’ve not got time to deal with your query. Dirty rooms, poor communication, relocated when I arrived to check in to a different apartment block altogether - which they didn’t notify me about before arrival. AVOID!

There is no communication from the staff even though it is a serviced apartment they won't come for our need and also they charge for cleaning and the internet is very slow they providing. The other flatmates are very noisy and the fire alarms goes on many nights we are not able to sleep.

Was booked into room that was not what was paid for, took 45mins to get new room

I have never checked straight out of anywhere before but I was in this property for less than an hour before I cancelled my stay and booked another hotel.On arrival the windows were wide open in the apartment and it was -1 outside so the room was freezing. The tiny little heater in the corner was not going to heat the room up enough to allow me to sleep in it. The place was very dirty, rubbish from previous people still in the bin, all cutlery and utensils dirty and the washing up equipment was all full of old food so wouldnt have helped clean. There were also no towels in the apartment so I was unable to have a shower. When I tried to call to ask about towels there was no answer. And no answer when I tried to call about checking out. Luckily hotels.com were kind enough to honour a refund for me as I was told by them that they contacted the property a number f times over a few days ad still got no response from them to issue a refund.

The flat and facilities are very good, and good value. The check-in experience was terrible. I was given a number to ring and left standing in the street for 20 minutes on hold - never answered. I managed to tailgate my way into the building where there was a deserted reception area - now worried I might be Thomas Cooked. Searching through emails I found mention of buzzing flat six, so went upstairs and knocked on door of flat 6 but no answer. About to give up when door opened on what turned out to be the office, so eventually was given key to flat. Lucky I decided to check fob would allow re-entry to building - it didn't. In the morning the boiler wasn't working so no shower. Won't be risking this again - shame, because the apartment itself was good.

The newly renovated flats met our expectations but the close proximity to the motorway and nearby hospital made the flat a bit noisy, especially at night.

The lobby is lovely however there is no lift as listed on the website. The staircase and rest of property is run down. The rooms are basic at best. Broken wine glass in the freezer, windows need a clean, you can hear all the traffic of Vaughan way all night. The deposit is charged per person not per room as listed on this site. Be careful when booking via 3rd party site as when you arrive to the property they will tell you you have to pay more as Expedia doesn’t allow u to select how many people are staying but they charge per person despite having a sufficient sized room. Would not recommend staying here.

Central location close to city centre and convenient to DMU and football ground. Room clean and staff friendly and accommodating. Building also houses students so noisy Friday/Saturday night.

Traveling with work, the apartment was local to the town centre. The staff were very accommodating. Thank you :)
