There was a large bug on the bathroom floor. Bed looked as though it had been slept in before I got there. The room door didn’t lock. This is a ghetto place to stay in downtown Montgomery. Pictures don’t match actual room conditions.

Checkin was a breeze! I literally walked in, handed the guy my ID, he copied it and handed me a key, and I walked to my room. I wish they could all be like that.

I didn't like anything about the place. It didn't provide secure rooms. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The towels were hard and old. Television was broken couldn't even watch anything. It was a very bad experience to stay there and would not recommend it.

Staff was helpful. Room relatively clean, but overall condition run down, shabby. Not a very pleasant stay.

Great place for a fair price. Central to the city so if you are there to see the Civil Rights stuff, it is a great choice!

The room had bags of coffee but no pot and no cups. It lacked any toilet tissue.It had one shampoo packet for two guests for two nights.The bathtub is quite slippery and lacks any handhold devices.

I had a two-night reservation late November of 2019. I was checked in by the female owner; very nice and friendly. I unloaded by bags and left to run errands. When I returned, I noticed that there was an ironing board set up right in front of an adjoining door to the adjacent room. This door had a doorknob but no latch and swung freely. I reached through to the other door and could turn the knob. There was no lock on my side to prevent anyone from entering my room from the adjoining room. I went to the office and told the owner I didnt feel safe as my door did not latch nor lock. He stated the second door was screwed closed from the adjacent room. Told him I have no way of knowing/verifying that was true. He said I could check out - he didnt offer another room or other solution. When pressed, he said he could prove it to me but not then as his baby was asleep. I left the office and returned to my room to pack up. He returned and took me to the adjoining room to show me the security. It was a thin strip of metal with two phillips-head screws. I told him anyone with a screwdriver could have access to my room if they wanted to come in. He again said I could check out. I packed up my bags and returned to the office to request a refund. He stated it would have to be processed by Expedia as the reservation was made through Expedia. Twice, I have called Expedia to have the charges refunded. The owner, Mr. Patel, has refused the refund both times even though he

Cheap and clean. Works perfectly if youre looking for a cheap motel to stop on a road trip. Close to downtown / state capitol etc.

It was extremely quiet staff professional and reasonable rates I stayed several days and the no special rate for extended stay is a bite in the wallet but that bite was made up by the round clock 2 person staff and and quietness

The room was advertised as accessible. It was not even remotely accessible!

Clean, affordable, and within walking distance of many major attractions (just not on a really hot day!). I’d stay here again for sure.

If you want to save money stay here...BUT keep in mind that this motel has two stars for a reason. Ask the locals...they will share the reputation of the clientele. Keep it on the DL!!

Just generally old and dirty. There was dried food all over the tv remote and a wash cloth from a previous guest was still in the tub. I cannot believe I spent $100 for that night’s stay.

This hotel didn't have many pictures and I now see why! It was not attractive on the outside and looked more like a run down apartment complex instead of a hotel. The parking lot had many available spots available thinking that it was not busy but I think it was more because all the guest/tenants were walking in and out of the area. The room was not bad, it was heated well but in the bathroom only 2 towels were there. We made due with 3 of us. But there was a used Q tip on the floor which was an eye sore. The beds were OK but nothing special. The next day, housekeeping did not clean the room but not a deal breaker. However we did need towels the next morning and I could not find any housekeeping staff at 8am so I went to front desk but no one came to the desk. I came back at 8:30 or so and was able to get the towels. Last thing, the door didn't shut well and if not careful could have been left open if not pulled very tightly. I would not recommend to others but it was the cheap room at the location we needed for this trip. Next time, I will make reservations earlier to stay somewhere else.

Very basic motel. Clean, quiet and secure. Great location for sightseeing.

I was disappointed that the hotel room locked the basics: like toilet paper and a trash can. Service was rather cold and unfriendly.

Large rooms, colourfully decorated, not stylish but clean and serviceable. Friendly and helpful check-in and check-out. Room had Wifi, TV, fridge and coffee maker (though no coffee, milk or sugar sachets). Very convenient location for downtown tourist attractions and restaurants.

Great location for exploring on foot, good basic hotel.

A non smoking room means no one has smoked in it that day apparently. Also, the decor needs updated.

Ants were every where. I would recommend removing them from your presentations
