The Avalon is conveniently located amidst restaurants and shops which makes it a destination within itself. The valet parking was reasonably priced, and our car was very quickly retrieved when we needed it. The decor is top notch. The lobby is just beautiful. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The shower was roomy and had good water pressure. We did not take advantage of the pool, but it was very nice and had a great bar area. We will definitely stay again in the future.

When I got there, I realized I did not have a room with a bathtub. I came back downstairs Soma. At the front desk worked her magic and found me a room with a bathtub that I much needed just so thin, very, very grateful i'm back home..

The hotel doesn’t mention the room I booked has a view of a concrete roof. When I asked about a possible room exchange I was told all rooms have same view. Hard to believe.

very crowded and some large group had a large party including the pool area. eventually, the noisy guests gathered into the hallways and woke us up. nobody ever came by and told the group to try and quiet down during the evening and late night. otherwise, they would have make an effort to keep the noise down.

The entire hotel was extremely hot only 1 of 3 elevators worked causing long wait times.

The tv was frozen and couldn’t use it well. 2 of 3 elevators were out on Friday night.

We had a good stay overall, but there was an issue with putting my mom’s name on the room for her to get points for the stay, and she injured her hand bumping into the elevator door. There was also a power outage at 4:30 am but it came back quickly, and of course is not the fault of the hotel.

First class all the way. Everyone is so nice.

No amenities in the room except soap and tiny body lotion. No evening room turn down.area rug in room was stained. Should be removed! Self park garage was $17 and the room key scanner at the parking deck was broken for entering and exiting so you had to call the front desk every time to open the gates. Frustrating and inconvenient.
Rooms are noisy with very thin walls.

This is a lovely property in a wonderful area. There is tons of shopping and dining options all within walking distance. Nice bar in the hotel as well. My only complaint is that I had really lumpy/bad pillows on the bed. I know… not huge deal.

no microwave in entire hotel, door lock didn’t work (died and had to be given a new room..), parking is extremely confusing, and side table charging outlets didn’t work. overall an overpriced hotel, also they offer you fiji water in room! if you pay $7….

Rented a room for the night to get away. Was looking forward to getting some quality sleep since our kids were with family. Woke up every other minute to the door to the stairwell slamming. Very unrestful. Super bummed we couldn’t sleep.

The Office Manager was superb, a touch of class and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my stay perfect. I'd return to the hotel JUST BECAUSE of the service.Everyone we dealt with was wonderful and welcoming. Great hotel, wonderful service, thank you all!!!
