From the moment we stepped in the door, we were greeted with champagne in the lounge to check in. The concierge/desk personnel were extremely helpful with recommendations and any issues. If you like the idea of repurposing space, this hotel has done a fabulous job making this place chic, cool and comfortable. The bar was stocked and serene. The rooms are a bit tight but they do an amazing job making the best of all space. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious. Amenities were better than most hotels including slippers, water, coffee in room, great bath products and even daily mouthwash! Wifi was excellent except on the patio but that was not an issue. We had the breakfast one day and the choices were fresh, delicious and healthy. The location is perfect - in the middle of everything you need to see and next to a Metro stop. We walked 15 min or less to every other neighborhood or attraction. They also had bikes (and umbrellas) for the guests. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

No restaurant. Bar very expensive. Rooms small. No refrigerator. No room to open luggage. No evening snacks provided without cost. No lobby. Expedia Charged $400 more than expected as I changed the reservations from 3 nights to two. Spent $600 a night for nothing. Concierge sent us to a bad restaurant. More?

We had a fabulous stay at the Herman K Hotel. The location is incredible!!! You can walk to absolutely everything. The staff is fantastic. I would like to mention Patricia and Fernando for being particularly helpful and another young woman whose name I did not get. If you are coming to Copenhagen this is absolutely the place to stay. Super clean and comfortable beds. Reasonable pricing. We loved Copenhagen!❤️

Conveniently located near the Metro station, silent, elegant, and with very kind personnel at work.

The biggest asset of the hotel is the staff at reception, too many to name but special shout out to Matilde, Josefina, Annija and Alex, nothing ever was too much trouble; they kept the room absolutely romantic for our 25th wedding anniversary with fruits, a bottle of wine and towel-swans all impeccably placed before our arrival. Housekeeping staff however needed constant reminding of daily upkeeps however as soon as they were brought to reception's notice the guys did everything to sort. Aircon regulator didn't work from the room so needed a few hundred emails exchanged with reception daily to regulate the temperature but they attended to it as soon as I brought it to their notice. Expedia didn't give me an option to include breakfast for suites as their own website offers all suite rates inclusive of breakfast however the hotel didn't honour it and instead gave us a complimentary breakfast on our anniversary day. I am glad we couldn't book it cos it would not have been to our liking (mostly cold breakfast, only hot option was an omlette). In summary, we liked our stay, we will not hesitate to book with Herman K again if we go back to Copenhagen.

The hotel was in a very convenient location, close to sights and the Metro. The downstairs bar area has a cool vibe.

An amazing hotel located at the center, the room was beautiful and the staff were great. I’ve stayed in 4 other hotels in Copenhagen which were 5 stars and they were disappointing so I thought that was the norm for the city, but I’m glad this hotel has exceeded my expectations and I’ll always book with them any time I visit Copenhagen

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We were very impressed with the level of service. The location is also really central, so everything we wanted to see was easy to walk to. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We absolutely loved Copenhagen and we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Staff did their best, but had a lot of issues with systems. Rooms were run down, chrome cast and audio systems didn’t work. No instructions in the room on how to use it. Rooms were visibly worn and badly cleaned. Location was great, but not worth the rate.

The location of the hotel is great. It can easily access all the Copenhagen attractions and transportations. The stuff are super nice and really knowledgeable about Copenhagen. They not only provided the wonderful service but also made great recommendations including restaurants and bakeries. We had a wonderful time in Copenhagen and will definitely stay here when we visit Copenhagen again next time!

The staff were all eager to please or solve any problems and had a very pleasant, open attitude. I liked the hotel so much that when I had to change my flight details at the last moment, I went straight back from the airport and stayed three extra nights.

Absolutely horrendous service. Staff does not clean up anything for hours and hours in the lobby. Out of coffee at breakfast, you have to practically go to the kitchen to get someone. Very shortstaffed and looks worse than a youth hostel…. Online reviews were most definitely deceiving.. the only good thing that was positive is 1) receptionist 2) bed 3) location and that’s about it. Not worth the money can get way better options.

The staff at the Socialist treat you like family! They are all so courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in a great location, close to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I’ll be staying here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel! We had a great stay in a modern, yet comfortable, room with a lovely shower and bed. The bar downstairs was perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail, and when we came back from being out on a Saturday night, the vibe was chill and not too loud.

Amazing warmth of service staff esp Mikko ?(spelling). He help me settled a noise problem the whole night which affected my sleep in junior suite.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great decor and in the heart of town. Wine hour is a great touch!
