Wonderful inexpensive place to stay within the walls of San Gimignano. Be aware of two flights of stairs to reach the hotel.Simona, the innkeeper, was wonderful and available if needed. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Perfect location for access to parking lot and central San Gimignano!

Very clean and attractive place. Simona is a great host. There is a walk from the city paid parking but it is a small price to pay to sty within the city walls.

Even a 10/10 isn't enough to describe the location, the cleanliness, the beautiful spaceous room overlooking the church, and mostly the positive energy and amazing welcoming and help of Simona! From start to finish, she showed us main attraction, she had coffee pods ready for our mornings, she answered WhatsApps right away. Honestly as gorgeous as San Gimignano is, the experience was made even better at Palazzo Mari! MUCH recommended 😍

On our trip throughout Tuscany this is one of the nicest apt. We stayed in. Samona is the gracious hostess. I wished I had booked an extra night’s stay. And what can one say of San Gimignano, “ Perfecto “ !!!

This is a charming little hotel within the walled city. From here, you can easily walk throughout the cobbled streets of San Gimignano.

Simone was a gracious hostess. Met ut the property upon contacting her. She gave us a tour of the facility and warmly welcomed us. The location of this property was very desirable as it’s proximity to shops/restaurants was superb. Parking was reasonably priced and close by. We would definitely return if possible. A definite 4 star accommodation with a 5 star location. Ciao !!

The Palazzo Mari was an Oasis away from the hustle and bustle of San Gimignano, tow minutes walk from the centre and yet very quiet. Simona was always available if you required any assistance. I would recommend the Palazzo Mari to anybody. Only negatives if your not to fit, is the walk from the car park and the stairs to accomodation

Inside the walls of the historic Centre of the city, convenient to walk anywhere and plenty of options for food nearby. Easy check in. Only difficulty during the day in peak season is finding parking nearby.

Rooms in the center of beautiful San Gimignano. Parking P3 (Bagnaia Superiore) is only 3 min away (and you can use elevator). Parking is 15 euro/day. Very nice and clean rooms (each with big bathroom). We had 3 rooms so we have whole apartment (with kitchen and lounge) for us. You can walk to the end of city in 10 minutes. Unfortunately we had time only for one night in Palazzo Mari.

This is a wonderful gem . The palace has been renovated into a green room, pink room, blue room etc . We had two rooms that closed off a hall. The linens and brocade curtains were beautiful . The ceiling were delicately painted to match the color coordinated tile . Simone and her husband were so helpful with our luggage and finding a close place to park . Staying right in the center of the pedestrian district let us see sights at different times of the day away from the crowds . The beds were so comfortable I did not want to leave .

We stayed in the pink room, which was big, clean and comfortable, and it also had air conditioning which was a lifesaver because of the warm weather. The property has a common area with a livingroom and a kitchen. The only downside was that the room had no sound proofing so if youre a light sleeper youll hear if people are hanging out in the common area or if there is still people outside in the streets.
