Enjoyable but brief stay. Beautifully restored building, friendly staff and good meal in restaurant.

The room was large, but the carpet throughout the entire hotel was filthy. I don’t know if it was dirt or water damage, but it needs to be replaced. I didn’t dare walk barefoot in our room as it was very filthy.
Restaurant at the hotel was good And so was the service at all aspects of the hotel.

4 star hotel with clean basic rooms. Everything a bit dated but excellent off street and secure parking and a decent outdoor pool area.

This is one of the best hotels in Braga with a spirit. The spa/pool section makes this hotel even better. We appreciate how the modern hotel has been incorporated in the mid-centuries walls. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit Portugal.

A wonderful place to rest for a vacation.
However it was a bit difficult to park our car.

The building is amazing and in the center of the city. The only downside, parking is not available for all guests. It is dependent in whether or not there is a space available in the garage when you arrive /ask. Otherwise, you will have to pay for street parking or a nearby private garage (about 25 euros / day)

There is no coffee maker and kettle in the room. No tea, no coffee in the room for a supposedly 4 star hotel.
No coffee machine for breakfast, had to ask waiters or waitress for cappuccino.

Property shares a church and is a former hospital. Great location in the old town. Great courtyard in the hotel itself. Have a white port tonic from the bar and sit there for a few minutes.

Beautiful, historic hotel, tastefully modernized. Location is great for walking around the centro. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The inclusive breakfast is very good.

Ok I think the hotel is short staff! We went to the pool and no attendance to give us towels! Another couple said no one was at the bar to give them a drink!

The hotel is a lovely building and is very nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with something for everyone including an omelette station. The front desk people were efficient and friendly. While the room was clean the room does look a bit tired. It could use a fresh coat of paint and the carpets cleaned. That said, the bathroom is updated and overall I was pleased by the room. I would recommend the hotel for the excellent location. I did not eat at the restaurant but it did look very nice and comfortable.

Good location. It is a surprise that their property is so big with easy parking. Indoor and out door swimming pools. The spa is very nice and good price. Breakfast is at average. The restaurant is good. Our room is old and has bad smell. They should do renovation to the old rooms.

Very nice and quite hotel, a good place where staying in Braga. If you have time, remeber to take advantage of the SPA and swimmingpool.

The hotel was very interesting and in a good location. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom situation however was NOT good. The partially frosted glass to both the toilet and shower did not provide adequate privacy and the lack of a true door to the toilet led to audible sounds from the bathroom that were unpleasant.

Prime location, great breakfast, impressive grounds, courtyard, bed would be comfortable if it wasn't for matress protection which felt too plastic, also there was a constraction going on next to the pools, so there was quiet a noise.

A beautiful hotel centrally located in the city. It really is a hidden gem. The front hotel staff, especially Patricia, .were so helpful. The pool was refreshing

Very good experience with these two exceptions: one of th pools was closed and the area of the open pool was very minimal; the one lift to our room was out of service which met travelling with our luggage’s along a long hallway to a « service lift » and back again along the long hallway on our floor. The next morning BOTH lifts were out of service, which met carrying suitcases down the stairs!

This hotel is stunning and in the center of town! Steps to shops and restaurants. Looks like an old magical castle! Staff is friendly and hotel is super clean! Rooms were very large for a large family!

I have been traveling for over 30 years and spent hundreds of nights in all types of hotels. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The property was unique in all aspects and the service was fantastic. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Braga.

Although everything was great about our experience but I was really disappointed that there were no facilities to iron clothes. We had an engagement in the evening and there was not enough time to send it to the laundry. What was even more disappointing was we were not made aware of this at check in and if we did send it for laundry despite there were no other means available, it would not be a complimentary service.
