Very quaint location convenient 2 block walk to restaurants and shops. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming.

Everything was good, there isn’t anything that made us uncomfortable or unhappy. My wife liked the bathtub with jacuzzi! We enjoyed the stay in Carmel by the Sea and we would like to stay longer next time.

We have stayed here many times. It is always set up to run smooth. The only issue and not any fault of the property, is the cars driving on the street travel very fast (over 25MPH) when the speed limit is 15 and this is dangerous and concerning when walking in the area.

This was our second stay with the Carmel Country Inn and we enjoyed just as much as the first time. The breakfast is delicious, and we love the goodies/snacks that they have available all day. The walk into town is a little arduous with the hill up and down, and uneven pavement, but I'm a little old and out of shape so it won't matter for those that are younger.

My room had a fireplace and a large hot tub. It was super clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Bacon quiche and other small breakfast items were yummy.

Nice and cosy property, and room too. Near to shops and restaurants.

This is a nice inn just a few blocks from Carmel's main drag (Ocean Dr.), which has a lot of shops and restaurants. It's rather pricey, but then everything in Carmel is pricey. It was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was nothing special with normal buffet food that can be expected included at a nice hotel. We stay at bandb's for that special breakfast, which this wasn't.

Very nice little inn with excellent service. The place is very animal friendly so expect to see dogs and cats around the property. Big comfortable bed and spacious rooms. The breakfast each morning was quite pleasant also.

Very impressed with the property and it’s appearance. The room was excellent and well stocked. We especially enjoyed having a fireplace to warm up after being out. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was above expectations with tasty options for my whole family.

Great older property, like most Carmel hotels. We enjoyed a great bathroom with oversized tub and separate shower. Great bed ( but pillows were small ). Nice to have a living room with fireplace but the room looked old, but very clean. Nice morning breakfast. Parking was tight but available. Very attentive staff. We would consider staying here again

Great location; spacious rooms; friendly staffs

In an area that's so saturated with inns and such, Carmel Country Inn did a great job in standing out in its overall presentation. The staff were all amazing, esp Lacy in our check-in. We stayed in the Tree House room, and it was well-kept, had nice little bathroom amenities, & the bed was really comfy. The breakfast was really good and had a couple of different crustless quiche options in personal portions which was nice to have as a yummy protein option, plus oatmeal, French toast, English muffins, and yummy baked goods. The fresh cookie plate when we checked in was also a nice touch and the fact that we could take little bags of goodies on the road on our way out. If you want to walk to the beach, I suppose you could, but it's quite a hike. We found in easier just to drive there. Overall though, we really enjoyed staying here and will keep it on our list of places to stay.

Gorgeous and cozy bed and breakfast. Fireplace and Jacuzzi tub makes for a romantic stay. Very friendly staff, short walk into town. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Great location, good breakfast, clean. Otherwise, like sleeping in a shoe box. Toiletries meh…made in China.

This was a lovely little hotel in a beautiful area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We liked the smaller, more intimate feel to the facility. Parking was somewhat limited and breakfast wasn't available until 8 a.m. The rooms could use some updating but the bed was quite comfortable. The staff were all excellent, very attentive and made us feel welcome. The only other thing to be aware of is that this is a pet friendly hotel. While most dogs were well behaved we had a barker next door. but at least the dog was quiet at night for the most part.
