Loved architecture, design, build, quality of build and products. Location on the beach is wonderful. Really beautiful. Manager and Receptionist speak great English and do wish to be helpful. Juices are really superb.Middle of nowhere down multiple dirt tracks, 30 minutes from Tangalle, food is in my opinion dreadful and I preferred not to eat and drink a juice. Heavily loaded with salt and cook has no idea how to cook basic western food. Multiple electricity issues with no aircon, WiFi or electricity in my room over days. I was DOWNGRADED from whst I had paid despite manager saying he would find same class room - he gave them all to new customers arriving that day. Room I was allocated was dirty with footprints, toothpaste splash all around top that sink sits on, sun lotion splash all over patio area. Couldn’t wait to leave

From the moment we came we felt so welcomed, the staff here like a small family. The rooms are amazing. The place is a bit isolated but don’t worry you have here everything, the food in the restaurant is absolutely wow. If you want a place to relax and enjoy a few days this is the perfect place, I am fully recommend.

We had a great stay at Lankavatara Ocean Retreat&Spa. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very modern with nice interior. The hotel is directly located on an beautiful empty beach. For breakfast you can choose between different types and they are all good! Across from the hotel is also a good restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner.
